That is a very smart and cost effective idea to help with that intersection until a more perminent move is budgeted.

Just leave it the way it is PLEASE! The students need to learn responsibility for walking across the street and making sure they are using the crosswalk light. I believe the crosswalk light should be mandatory, and if its not flashing, noone should be crossing. i dont mind stopping for them but its different when a kid decides to run across the road when i'm almost at the cross walk so i slam on my brakes to avoid hitting them. also, if im behind a bigger truck and they go through the intersection, i cant necessarily tell if someone is trying to walk. but the lights are up high, so i can look up and still see them above the big truck. i live in this area and anything they do will cause issues. its a pain in the buns!

Support Ordinance No. 2207 & 2169. Both will help bring bike lines to Bateman St.

Oh yes, many bike riders will help that intersection, what a crock!

Bicycles have to abide by traffic, the same laws, or supposed to, one way bike lane or what?
