PFC. Bradley Manning Seeks Damage Assessment From U.S. Government

The pre-trial hearing for Private First Class Bradley Manning will take place Monday afternoon at Fort Meade.

Manning, who is being tried for the biggest leak of secrets in U.S. history, is seeking reports from government agencies to assess the damage done by his disclosure of classified diplomatic cables and war logs to the whistle-blower website Wikileaks.

He is also asking that the military judge postpone his September trial date to allow both sides time to obtain and study the documents.
