Incident: Assault

Suspect: Edward D. Hadley, 34, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 22 May 2012 at 7:05 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Shawnee Avenue for a reported domestic altercation. Upon arrival, the deputy met with a female who advised she had become involved in an argument with her husband, Edward D. Hadley, when he allegedly punched her in the face. The deputy saw signs of injury on the victim that corroborated her account and placed Hadley under arrest.

The deputy transported Hadley to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Hadley on Personal Recognizance.

Charges: Assault 2nd Degree
