I respect motorcycle riders and look for them when i drive. i used to ride. With that said I have no respect for the idiot riders who are cutting through traffic and riding wheelies or zipping by at outrageous speeds. Some of these are brought on by the riders.they need to ride defensively...

The safety courses are really awesome, and as a 40 year rider I highly recommend them. They teach things that I never even considered thinking of before! MVA teaches a main beginner's course my daughter took. I don't know if they offer a refresher, but it's worth asking for.

deaths are not declining because more people are riding due to high gas prices. more kids are riding, and with the combination of inexperience and no sense of mortality, take risks on the road with their bikes.
