Want To Vote? Show Your ID

Legislators should require Colorado voters to prove their identity, as long as a variety of IDs can be used.

Requiring voters to present photo identification doesn't have to be an onerous burden.

Despite recent efforts by the Obama administration to beat back photo ID laws in Texas and South Carolina, Colorado should move forward with pending legislation requiring photo identification.

So long — and this is an important caveat — as it allows for a variety of IDs to be used, and accommodations are made to ensure official ID cards are reasonably easy to obtain, there is no reason to not pass this bill.

The case has been made that voter ID laws could disenfranchise a significant number of eligible voters, disproportionately harming minorities, seniors and low-income voters.

I'am a devoted and Lifesaver Member of The Blood Bank, and was called to make a donation, as I give as often as I can. Today I arrived at my appointment time on Mt. Hermon Rd. in Salisbury, signed in, and the lady asked for a photo ID. I said, "Obama says I don"t have to show it to vote, so why should I have to display it to give my own blood. People in the waiting room looked at me like I was crazy. The point I'am making is you won't see or hear that in the MSM, and surely not in the Daily Times. Sadly, people just don't know, or don't care.

How can you vote if you can't prove who you are?

Because then you can only vote ONCE. And my dead uncle can't vote at all. That's not fair.

I only want Voter ID for the eventual day when some stuck-up rich white person gets denied thier Constitutional right to vote because they could not provide proper paperwork.

That is when it will get fun.

All the "Obammy is a communist Mooslim" people now WANT to present Goverment officials with their "papers." How do you gusy wake up every morning and not be confused.
