Thee is NO fast lane...it is 55 MPH..I see one speed limit sign 55! I might be in the "fast lane" to make a left. Slow down it keeps your blood pressure down. Start sooner..
anonymous 12:07, I'll add, Delaware drivers doing 45 mph in a 50 mph zone, (like Rt. 54) and when you go to pass them they speed up while your passing them. Happens all the time.
I have always been peeved at those drivers who carry a full load of children without car seats or restraints. You can see the little ones hopping all over the back seat. Just wish I could be the "carseat police".
to 11:12 My fault, the passing lane. It is taught if you are not passing anyone you are to be in the right lane. Making a left is understandable, but if you drive in that lane for 5 miles to make a left you are my pet peeve. Id10T
12:55, I agree. I think it is worse with the next generation since there is so much abbreviating in text messages and other things. I also hate it when I see a teen on facebook say "I am so BOARD" instead of bored. LOL
My pet peeve is people who don't know the difference between your and you're, there,they're and their, its and it's, to and too. They "right" with such authority yet "their" "to" ignorant (or maybe just lazy) to write correctly.
1:38- Yes!!! Also, people who abbreviate in text messages, such as U and ur. Ur is not your in my opinion. It's errrrr! Also, people who follow everything they say with "You know what I mean?" It's as if they need validation for everything that they say. I always want to reply, "No I don't know what you mean. Please explain in great detail!"
Grammatical errors and misspellings. I'm a retired English teacher who yearns to take a red pen to them! Sherry, that's underWEAR, but I like your comment.
People that say shut up. Be quiet, or hush is ok but shut up just irks me. Also people that end what they are saying with.....just saying. Drivers in general usually tick me off lol.
I also agree with 1:38 although I am guilty of it myself. I know the difference but sometimes my typing fingers just type the wrong words lol
My first pet peeve is misspelling, as I stated at 12:55 above. But I also agree with the poster who complained about the "there, their, they're", "your, you're", and "its, it's" mis-usage.
I forgot to also mention the 's problem. 's shows possession, not plural. If it's more than one's possession, it's s'. If you want to show plural it's usually just an "s" or "es"
Parents whose children get free or reduced breakfast and lunch cause they're poor. But they seem to manage to come up with the cash to buy $7.00 packs of cigarettes.

@11:12am
it is also suggested in the maryland state driver's handbook that all slower traffic move to the right.
@1115am
i know. this new format of verification sucks.
People who wear their pants below their underware. What is the freakin point of this ?
Lazy people park in front of liquor store, in Giant plaza. You cannot walk for a parking space?
I cannot tolerate lateness or people who are never on time for anything.
Tardiness, women who write checks in grocery stores (never see men doing that), people who use handheld cell phones in their cars, and laziness
People that can't string three words together without say, "you know", "This That and other", Yadaa yadaa. Very annoying.
Delaware drivers that dont understand what the fast lane is for! most of them seem to favor this lane when driving too slow.

People who double-dip or eat over a bowl or platter of food at a party. Get a plate!

Misspelling, especially on the internet. My computer and browser offers spell-check. Not sure why other people's computers do not.

anonymous 1:04, oh, trust me, your one of them.

3:49 that goes without saying!
People who say "who's" instead of whose, lose instead of loose, and end words that end in "th" with an "f" sound, ie birfday.
