Mikulski's Baltimore Office Receives Suspicious Letter

U.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski's office in Baltimore received a package containing a harmless powdery substance Friday.

A representative for the senator, Rachel MacKnight, said the office received a suspicious envelope, and they reported it to police.

Investigators described the contents as a harmless powdery substance.

U.S. Capitol police alerted Senate offices this week that several Senators' state offices have received similar letters.

No injuries were reported, and the incident remains under investigation

Why was it suspicious? Did not have food in it? She has not missed a meal in years but has missed the poi t, another lifetime politician.

8:16, the letter had a powdery substance. Come on, you don't have to get personal.

Joe, speaking of getting personal, what did you think of the Slime editorial today slamming the council? Sounds like it was written by Mike Dunn and Jim Ireton. I don't understand any of the EDU mumbo jumbo, but it sounds like Ireton's going to hike my water bill so he can give away downtown. The front page was another slam about the buildings. I don't blame the council for stopping wrong-headed projects. Ireton promised change and just gave us more Barrie Tilghman, and Mike Dunn again.
