Israeli officials are pushing back against what appears to be a growing perception among experts and analysts that its military lacks the capability to deal a significant blow to Iran’s nuclear installations, warning skeptics not to underestimate the Jewish state.
The officials, including currently serving political figures and retired military officers, pointed out in interviews with The Daily Beast that Israel has a history of surprising its enemies and surpassing expectations, from the lightning assault of the 1967 war to the daring rescue operation for hostages at Entebbe in 1976.
Their remarks seemed calculated to counter reports like the one in The New York Times last week that suggested Israeli planes would face huge challenges in reaching Iran and destroying its nuclear installations, which are buried deep in the ground and scattered throughout the country.

Israel is expecting help from the US plain and simple.Biblically speaking,we will turn our back on them, but the bible does not pinpoint a specific timetable. My guess is that this is not it.We will be there for them with bells on.March or April sounds about right for a full blown war.
We need to let them handle it then. We need not to get into any more wars.we have a war raging here on our own borders that need to be fought.
4:20, that's not going to happen.
3:17, LOL
Someone is dripping with sarcasm
Yeah, well 529, it still needs to happen. Those people have been fighting over there among each other for over a thousand years and tomorrow will see no relief. Why we or NATO thinks that our involvement would ever make a difference in their motives or policies is ridiculous. Best we stay home and watch the show from here. And get out of Afghanistan, and Iraq, and the rest of the Middle East. Leave Embassies and just enough troops to protect them.
The guys can protect our own borders for a change!
Obama may desert them. But the israelies have more balls then we do. They will prevail.
