Maryland officials constantly tout the state’s top schools and most educated workforce, but it may have a more dubious distinction – the least compact and most gerrymandered congressional districts in the nation.

The state is gerrymandered in the new proposal, but their methodology is flawed. District 1 is not gerrymandered but is listed by them as being one of the offenders. It gets its shape from geography, not politics...

It's drawn to racial lines. WHY??? Are we back to drawing racial lines now? Or should we draw lines according to Dem/ Repub this year? Or gat vs. straight??? wtf?

Maryland has always been crooked and always will be crooked. From the governor, to the politicians, to the state police, and on down the line.

Nothing new here and nothing will change. The closer you get to the beltway idiots the more corruption you will find.
