For the last several years, Ron Paul has regularly won the straw polls at conservative events like CPAC and the Values Voter Summit but Religious Right organizers and activists have always been quick to dismiss these wins as flukes and assert that Paul does not actually represent the views of the movement.

That's why Paul raised the most money in the 2008 Presidential campaign from military donors, he had more military donations then all other candidates on both sides of the aisle, combined! He's got plenty of support, just not from the mainstream media. That's fine by me.
Yeah, Pual, that evil man. Nobody likes him, supports him, or will vote for him. Okay. I made that up.
