Criminal Press Release

DATE & TIME: 11/08/2010 at 1400 hours

LOCATION: Dead end of Ed Taylor Drive, Salisbury, Md

BRIEF RESUME:
On the above date and time, a Trooper from the Salisbury Barrack was on patrol in the area of Ed Taylor Drive at the dead end, Salisbury Wicomico County a road known to be frequented by prostitutes and controlled dangerous substances abusers. At that location the Trooper observed a vehicle pulled into a wood line and it appeared to be un-occupied. The Trooper approached the vehicle on foot and observed a partially nude person wearing female under garments lying on his back on the back seat. The suspect was later identified as a male by his Maryland I.D. card. as Thomas E. Bowen III). The Trooper also observed suspected crack cocaine and crack cocaine paraphernalia in plain view within the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and a quantity of crack cocaine was recovered from the vehicle along with other paraphernalia.

Upon arrival at the barrack additional paraphernalia was located secreted inside of Bowen’s under garments. Bowen was arrested and transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center where he was held on $10,000.00 bond after a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.


Arrested:
1. Thomas E. Bowen III age 29 of Mardela Springs, Md.
Bowen was charged with possession of cds Crack Cocaine and possession of cds paraphernalia.

Ed Taylor Drive----yea, that's a dead end all right. Wonder why the county named a dead end road after Ed Taylor??
