And yet again, our government does nothing about it! This violates a law that is still on the books from WWII, "Profitering during war time" is Illegl, and this country is again at war. The President needs to inforce the law. Every petrolium company has continued to post record profits since 911, it is an outraige! Since gas is a needed resource to live in most of america, it needs to have price controls like heating gas and electricty, this "Robbery" at the pump has gone on long enough, tell congress to put a stop to it. (of course they don't really give a crap cus the oil company contributes to their re-election fund)but lets try to stop this.
War can only be declared by Congress.
Last war was WWII.
Just seems awkward that if oil goes up $2 a barrel we see the increase at the pump almost immediately but if oil drops $10 a barrel it takes a month for the price to go down. That should be illegal. That is price gouging. If the price drops today on a barrel of oil then the price at the pump should reflect that immediately. Do away with the speculators. They suck!!!
What did congress do back after 911 when Pres. Bush asked them for a decloration of "The war on Terror"??? Why do our politicians keep refuring to that shooting and bombing as "War", if it is not a war???
