Washington – Today, Rep. Andy Harris will follow through on his campaign promise by voting in favor of H.R. 2 “Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act” to repeal Obamacare. According to the American Action Forum, Obamacare will add more than $500 billion to the deficit in the first 10 years and $1.5 trillion in the following decade. In addition, the American Action Forum cites a network of new taxes and regulations that create major barriers to sustained job growth.
“In November, Americans sent a clear message that they do not want a Washington bureaucrat in charge of their health care,” said Congressman Andy Harris. “Our economy cannot grow with a law that creates such uncertainty for businesses and individuals. As a physician voting to repeal Obamacare, I know that Congress has an opportunity to advocate real health care solutions that will protect jobs, lower costs and preserve patient-centered health care.”
The American Action Forum letter, in favor of repeal, was signed by over 200 economists and experts – including two former Congressional Budget Office Directors. I am pleased that Harris kept his word and voted for repeal, but it really is an exercise in futility. The measure now goes to the Senate, where it will undoubtedly fail. Of course, those who voted to repeal can tell the voters that they did, so it's not their fault that the repeal failed.
Really is a conflict of interest just looking after his own pocket.
I regret whole heatedly voting for "Hand-Out Harris"... He goes to DC to vote away the health care of the people he rep's but couldn't wait even a month for his govt medicine.

The other thing that it (hopefully) will do is put on record all the folks voting against the repeal....providing the citizenry with a list of employment status' to repeal at the next election.

This fellow said the Government was spending recklessly. How much money did it cost the tax payers for the Congress to engage in this exercise in futility. Another waste of tax payers dollars. It sounds good, but it's a waste of time and money. Andy Harris is another wasted politician.
