GOVERNOR O’MALLEY TO REVIEW PANEL RECOMMENDATIONS TO STRENGTHEN SMALL BUSINESS

Governor will formally accept Small Business Task Force recommendations; Host live Small Business Town Hall at Baltimore’s Blue Sky Factory

ANNAPOLIS, MD
– Governor Martin O’Malley will join members of the Governor’s Task Force on Small Business on Wednesday, December 9 at 2:30 p.m. at Blue Sky Factory in Baltimore to officially accept the panel’s recommendations to strengthen small businesses and create jobs in Maryland. The Task Force, which the Governor convened in August, was charged with developing 3-5 recommendations on how to solve the issues most critically impacting Maryland’s small businesses, including access to capital, procurement, regulatory, sustainability, and workforce concerns.

Following the Task Force meeting, the Governor will join local small business owners and host his first online Small Business Town Hall live from Baltimore’s tech entrepreneur Blue Sky Factory, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Questions for the Governor may be submitted by visiting www.choosemaryland.org
