Defendant: Earl B. Bradley, 56, Lewes, DE
Resume: Troop 4 detectives are currently investigation Earl B. Bradley a pediatrician out of Lewes, DE, in reference to unlawful sexual contact charges. Doc. Bradley has been the focus of a year long investigation by detectives involving multiple victims. The recent charges against Doc. Bradley stemmed from an incident that took place between late October and early December of this year, involving a 2 year old female victim.
Charges were filed against Doc. Bradley late last night after the victim of the recent incident was interviewed by State Officials. Troop 4 detectives placed Doc. Bradley in custody at his residence early this morning. Detectives also conducted a search warrant at Doc. Bradley’s office on Coastal Highway, Lewes DE. Troop 4 detectives removed several computers and medical files from Doc. Bradley’s office while conducting the search warrant.
Earl B. Bradley is charged with Rape 2nd (f), Unlawful Sexual Contact 1st (f), and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (f). Earl B. Bradley is currently being interviewed at Troop 4 by detectives and the investigation is ongoing.
Upon completion of the interview, Doc. Bradley will be arraigned in reference to the above charges and bail will be set.

If I were the parents of the victim that prompted this arrest, I would be livid. He was under investigation for A YEAR?!? And still committing these crimes against innocent children? While the police were aware of it? The Delaware State Police should also be charged with Endangering the Welfare of Children.

My husband called from work after reading this article and asked, "Now, how do we know Earl Bradley?" I answered that he was our granddaughter's pediatrician some years ago, that he's the best. Then he told me about Dr. Bradley's arrest.
Our experiences with Dr. Bradley have been nothing but positive. I'm saddened to hear about the allegations. My condolences to all involved.
My god could this be true, we all know that the Lewes Police including Troop 7 officers are corrupt now it's our childrens doctors.
I took my kids there for 3 visits and I found him to be very odd. He carries children all around his office after they have gotten undressed for their well-check appointment. He carried my 2 year old son out of the room in only his diaper while my son cried. On every visit after that I saw him do that with other children. That is not a crime but I just got a really bad feeling about him and promptly found a new pediatrician. Unfortunately, these allegations don't surprise me and will most likely prove to be true.
I must say that this is no surprise to me. I removed my children last november . I filed a report against him with my insurance company. He did not break any law but the way he tried to take my daughter into a black room with glow in the dark stickers,and shut the door, instead of taking care of my sick son who ended up in the e.r. 4 days later , he was to consumed with stroking my daughter's hair and giving her gifts and kisses and walking her around to even see how sick my son was!

7:20 if you read my whole post I said that carrying a child in his diaper is not a crime. Of course the kids have to get undressed for a well check. It was just the fact that there was no reason for him to take the kids out of the room where their parents are and on future visits I always saw him carrying mostly naked kids around the office in his arms for no apparent reason. My motherly instinct told me that something was not right and I found a new doctor. I know of several other parents who had the same experience.
As a parent of four children I don't understand why a parent would leave a child of that age alone with any doctor, nurse, or specialist. I may be out on my own but I trust no one with my children, there are too many sickos walking among us in all professions.
DT has TWO-year-old too. Depending, parents can see signs of sexual abuse in toddlers and toddlers can convey things.
The behaviors described here are NOT normal for a pediatrician.
Responsible doctors also are not alone with patients.
Innocent till proven guilty, but reports here lend belief. Inmates do not like child molesters. He's done if he goes in.
I agree that parents may be too trusting of physicians. I thought that there was always supposed to be a nurse in the room with a male physician for this very reason. Regardless, I'm a firm believer in an for an eye. So let's cut off his penis. Then we will throw him in jail with the other inmates. He'll be dead in no time. Problem solved.
I AM A PARENT WHO HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH DR. BRADLEY. I ALSO REMOVED MY CHILDREN FROM HIS OFFICE LAST NOVEMBER. HE MADE ME VERY UN EASY. AFTER A FEW VISITS YOUR INSTINCT REALLY TELLS YOU IT IS NOT NORMAL. WHEN MY HUSBAND MET HIM THAT WAS IT. HE SAID THE MAN IS CREEPY, AND TO TAKE THE KIDS OUT!

I JUST HEARD ABOUT THIS AT SCHOOL AND I WAS INDEAD PETRIFIED MY SISTER GOES TO THIS DOCTOR I HAVE BEEN THERE I TOLD MY MOM THAT HE LOOKED CREEPY AND LIKE HE WAS A LITTLE PSYCO HE WOULD BOB HIS HEAD AND HIS HANNDS WOULD SHAKE ... I HAVE SEEN THAT ROOM AND HE CLOSED IN WITH A PATIENT MY MOTHER RECENTLY WENT THERE LAST WEEK ON THE 14TH SHE WAS WAITING TO GET MY BROTHER EXAMINED WHEN SHE HEARD A LITTLE GIRL SCREAMING. IT WAS TERRIFYING SHE STATES THAT IN HER MIND SOMETHING WAS WRONG IT TOOK A LONG TIME THE MOTHER WAS THERE AND SHE WAS SAYING"IT WILL ONLY HURT A LITTLE" SHE FOUND IT VERY STRANGE TO HEAR THAT AFTERWARDS SHE LEFT IN A WHITE ROBE THEY USE FOR HOSPITAL PATIENTS SHE WAS COMPLEYLY NAKED BESIDES THE ROBE WHEN SHE WENT TO USE THE BATHROOM... THAT WEEK SHE WAS PLANNING TO CHANGE MY BROTHER AND SISTER AND AFTER THISS ITS ABSOULTLY GOING TO HAPPEN ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT I BELIEVE AND AND MY MOTHER TOLD ME THIS STORY LAST WEEK. I took my kids to Dr. bradley for years and never had even the slightest feeling of uneasiness. My daughter was sexually molested by her bio dad and trust me - I know what to look for. Dr. B isn't it. He is an amazing doctor who really loves kids.
If there was anything to these allegations, I would think our wonderful boys in blue would have found some evidence during the course of the year-long investigation. Yet another case of the Sex Crimes unit at Troop 4 proving that they have a reason to exist. Arrest some high-profile man every six months or so - the public will think you're doing a great job!
The really unfortunate part of all of this is that they'll fling so many made-up charges at the poor man that he'll be forced to take a plea, and he'll end up in jail. For something I seriously doubt he did. Because that's justice in Delaware once the Sex Crimes unit gets its stink-eye on you.
Something ain't right. No physician asks to be alone with a minor or female patient. No parent in their right mind would leave their sick childs side at the doctors while she or he is being examined, they will want to hear every word that the Dr has to say about the childs condition. economic times may have played a role in this. I bet a civil suit/settlement will soon follow
Please don't judge the parent's so harshly. (Is it just so you can feel superior? Who among us hasn't trusted when we shouldn't have?) The parents will blame themselves enough for the rest of their lives, watching for signs of their abused children being troubled in both obvious or subtle ways. Best to just be supportive and loving towards those families affected by this tragedy.

You do realize they have video and still images of the horrific acts he posed upon these defenseless children, right? They got them from computers and thumb drives at his own home and office. Pretty hard for the police force to fake that, don't ya think?
OMG. I can't believe out of all the doctor's in the area. I lived in Millsboro DE for only 2 years and I used to make my son to Dr. Bradley when my son was 1 to 2 years old. Now, I'm sitting here wondering if I ever left the room or allowed him to take my son out of the room. Oh my God. Why in the world would it take a year to move forward with charges? What was in this basement and how come nobody else in that office reporting these behaviors? Will police contact parents of children patients if they have video or photo proof, etc? If any of these allegations are true, I hope he gets plenty of prison time and in general population with the other inmates. He deserves to be violated and punished. What is going on with this world? It's way overdue to introduce tougher punishment for this sick creeps.

finally - there is no reason for ANY adult - teacher doctor dentist whatever - to be alone with your child. and certainly no reason why a medical professional would be giving out CANDY after a visit. its nuts!
dear anonymous 4:57 - wow how could you say a such thing like taht they have videos and pictures of the precious little kids being hurt the way they did i cant belive you would really take dr.bradlys side on this and i would never ever leave my kids alone with a male doctor in a room with the door shut ! i would want to hear every single word the doctor has to say about my child and their health condition, and i have seen the doctors office after it got shut-down and just from seeing the little office on the outside with the eore sticker on the window just tells me that something was a little creepy about that man and the ferris wheel on the outside of the house where everything has gotten put from the inside i can already tell that this man is woerd acting and i cant beleive that cops have let this go this far and maybe if they knew how to do their jobs this many kids wouldnt have been sexually abused, i beleive that delware cops need to be charged as well for endangering the wellfare of children ! they let this go on for way to long and for any of the familes,parents,and kids that this terrible incident has happened to i hope the best for the rest of your lifes and hope nothing like this will happen ever again !
