Joe, I hate to say it but I believe its just a matter of time before a local law enforcement officer is shot - like Officer Spicer was in Delaware. These young thugs and punks do NOT fear our criminal justice system and to spend any kind of time in jail is just a rite of passage that gives street creed in their own mind. They are getting more and more brazen and I fear that if our police actually confront a crime in progress like this - shots will ring out and tragedy will befall us. I hope and pray I am wrong but I have a increasingly sickening feeling about this. My gosh, is that what its going to take to get that damn worthless POS chief replaced with someone who cares?

9:19 as long as you stay in a "good" neighborhood and don't venture out, walking in the neighborhood and as long as you avoid ANY kind of convenience store, gas station, or low life place of employment (seedy hotels, foreign owned stores, etc) and as long as you avoid places where thugs and gangs hang out - you'll be perfectly safe in Salisbury. Remember - our leaders have told us we do not have crime and we do not have gangs and if you kill someone you know, it "aint" murder. 9:38 you just described all of Salisbury. Basically be a prisoner in your own home, what a great "quality of life" that is. How much more ignorance can there be around here? I also agree about the shithouse comment. There isnt much charm here without the crime, add gangs, drugs and all the local ignorance and you've just entered a smaller version of hell.

Delmar PD responded to PRMC last night to meet with the victim so don't believe it happened in Salisbury.
