Dem strategist behind #HuntRepublicans tweets reacts to Handel victory: ‘Time for hunting’

A New Jersey Democratic strategist under fire for tweeting #HuntRepublicans and #HuntRepublicanCongressmen after last week’s congressional baseball shooting doubled down on the violent rhetoric Wednesday, saying it’s “time for hunting” after Republican Karen Handel won Georgia’s special congressional election over Democrat Jon Ossoff.

“Yesterday’s special election results show Democrats need a wartime consigliare [sic],” Jim Devine wrote. “This is no time for hiding, it is time for hunting.”

LISTEN to Megyn Kelly audio leak: “I knew it was a fraud!” [AUDIO]

by Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

I’m so not surprised by this. Alex Jones clandestinely recorded Megyn Kelly during his pre-interview with her. She just doesn’t get that she was being set up by this charlatan. Jones claims that he knew it was all a lie and a fraud. Of that I have no doubt… he’s paranoid and doesn’t trust anyone. In this case, he may have been right. I’m sure this violates agreements with NBC and that Alex Jones will wind up back in court over this.

In the meantime, Megyn Kelly’s ratings have massively cratered. No one wants to put the parents of the kids who died at Sandy Hook through an interview with a madman who claims it was all a hoax. It rips their hearts out. The guy is insane and everyone knows it. Kelly has a First Amendment right to interview whomever she wants… but why in the world would you give credibility to someone like Alex Jones? You simply make him money and push the fact that somehow he has a point. Excuse me, I think the whole human-fish hybrid nonsense is just crackers. Giving airtime to that is nothing but sensationalism and tawdry.

Do Americans really care about Russia, Russia, Russia?

DC Polling Expert took this question to one of his focus groups and here's the real sentiment for most Americans about Trump and the whole Russian extravaganza.

Hannity: A ‘soft coup’ is unfolding against Trump

Conservative political commentator Sean Hannity claimed Tuesday that Obama administration holdovers and members of the media are contributing to a “soft coup” being waged against President Trump.

“A soft coup is underway right here in the United States of America in an attempt to overturn November’s election results and forcibly remove a duly elected president from office — sinister forces quickly aligning in what is becoming now, in my mind, a clear and present danger,” Mr. Hannity said near the start of his Fox News program Tuesday evening.

“Here in America, we are at a turning point tonight with forces now forming an alliance to try and remove President Trump from office. It’s that serious,” he continued.

The “Hannity” host followed up the claim by listing several factors he believes are contributing to the supposed coup, among them Obama administration holdovers; “left-wing ideologues” employed by what Mr. Hannity called the “Destroy Trump Media”; and Robert Mueller III, the special counsel recently appointed by the Justice Department to investigate criminal allegations involving the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

“This effort to override the will of the American people, change the results of a presidential election, is now creating a national security crisis,” he said.

Prominent Democrat Leader’s RACIST Comments Go Public

Wow. It looks like Florida Democratic Party chairman Stephen Bittel has really stepped in it this time. He made a number of comments to the legislative black caucus that were perceived as racist. This started at a fundraiser. Bittel edited and cut short a program that stated legislators should be recognized. When said legislators got upset, Bittel called them ‘childish’. He also said that State Sen. Oscar Braynon (D.) was acting like a three year-old. Braynon is black. Oh boy. State Sen. Lauren Book (D.) questioned Bittel on the exchange. “They’re like children, these black lawmakers. They just don’t get it,” Bittel said. “I raised more money in this amount of time than they ever could.”

Now, that’s rude, but how is that racist? Then Bittel accused the African-American lawmakers of “playing the race card” once they took offense to his statements. He may not have been acting racist, but he sure had a lock on moronic. “I have much to learn and I am committed to being better and learning from this mistake. I sincerely apologize,” Bittel said in a written statement to Politico. Uh yeah… it’s a little too little, a little late for that apology. Bittel is now saying he may resign and that suddenly has become a real possibility.

OC: Cop Nearly Shoots Suspect For Charging Him With Knife

OCEAN CITY — A Baltimore man was arrested on first-degree assault after allegedly pulling a switchblade on an Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) officer and continuing to come toward him to the point the officer had to threaten to shoot him.

Around 12:30 p.m. last Saturday, an OCPD officer was working in a covert capacity around 3rd Street and Baltimore Avenue searching with other officers for a robbery suspect. The OCPD officers observed a group of about eight males standing on the sidewalk on 3rd Street outside City Hall. As the officers approached, the group of about eight males abruptly split in several directions and began to run away from the area. According to police reports, the officers observed frightened expressions on the faces of at least two of the males.

The OCPD officer exited the unmarked patrol vehicle and began to approach the bushes on the south side of City Hall to see if any of the suspects who had fled were hiding there. As the officer stepped out of the street and onto the sidewalk, he noticed a male suspect, later identified as Jordan Kuzma, 19, of Baltimore, lurking on the sidewalk about 20 feet away from the officer.

After Jon Ossoff’s DEFEAT, Democrats Conclude To Stop Losing, They Must Go FURTHER LEFT

I was beyond thrilled last night when Karen Handel beat John Ossoff Georgia’s 6th congressional district. The Democrats broke a new record there and spent over $25 million trying to get a Pajama Boy elected that didn’t even live in that district. It backfired. So, instead of examining their message to see what went wrong, the Democrats in their rabid insanity have decided to lurch even further left. That’s right… embrace the violent radicalism threatening to eat them whole.

The Democrats are now actively rejecting calls for civility. This isn’t going to end well. Nope. Handel effectively tied Ossoff to Nancy Pelosi and the voters collectively puked over that alliance. So, it’s an image problem. But on the civility issue, a Bernie Sanders acolyte just tried to assassinate Republicans at a baseball practice… you would think that would give them pause before going the ‘uncivil’ route, but no.

Planned Parenthood spent $734,000 in failed Georgia race

Jon Ossoff lost the House race in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District despite receiving nearly three-quarters of a million dollars from the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

With $734,000 in campaign contributions, the abortion giant was the second-biggest spender on the Democratic side of the ledger — only trailing the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which poured $4.9 million into the race.

Mr. Ossoff raised a historic $23 million to try to pick off the seat vacated by former Rep. Tom Price, who was appointed to head the Department of Health and Human Services by President Trump.

The Heterophobic Gender Deniers

Disgruntled liberal protagonists, short on substance for their arguments, often resort to denigrating their opponents with labels. For example, if you disagree with their “Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender” agenda, you’re “homophobic.” And if you disagree with theirstatist climate agenda you’re a “science denier.”

There are strong meritorious arguments opposing both these leftist orthodoxies, but allow me a bit of acerbic sarcasm to return fire, and label those promoting the LGBT agenda as “heterophobic gender deniers.” June, after all, is “LGBT Pride Month,” which means plenty of celebrations in the theater of the absurd. (Heterophobic: Fear of Diversity)

But before addressing those gay merriments, allow me also, by way of disclaimer, to submit that what follows is not a “conservative” or “religious” perspective on sexuality. In fact, I believe the private affairs of consenting adults, however sordid, are their business — until they attempt to normalize and nationalize them.

Ron Paul Interviews Snowden On The "Rise Of The Deep State"

In a discussion with Edward Snowden on his weekly “Liberty Report," Ron Paul and the former NSA contractor trace the genesis of the so-called Deep State, and discuss how the US intelligence community uses covert programs like those exposed by Snowden in 2013 to trample individual freedoms.

The most sinister quality of the Deep State, Snowden says, is its ability to mask its very existence from the public, allowing it to undermine President Donald Trump while remaining largely hidden from scrutiny.

“Generally, when we’re talking about the Deep State, what we’re talking about is a mass of government that survives beyond administrations, but that is not responding to the politics of the people. This belongs not to a particular political party, but it serves across parties. Across administrations.”

The Deep State’s culture of secrecy convinces employees that they won’t ever be held accountable for their actions, Snowden said, since even routine communications between employees at the CIA and NSA are classified.

Yuge GOP Turnout Doomed Democrat in Georgia

A high turnout of Republican voters is believed to have boosted Karen Handel to victory in Georgia's special election Tuesday.

Democrat Jon Ossoff was favored in most polls entering the election that determined who would replace former Rep. Tom Price, who now serves as heath and human services secretary. According to Politico, Ossoff's defeat came down to numbers on the Republican side.

More than 259,000 votes had been counted as of Wednesday afternoon, a high number for a special election..

Playtime is Over: Team Trump Scraps Absurd EPA Employee Benefit

The Environmental Protection Agency is scrapping the agency's nearly $1 million in gym memberships as an abuse of taxpayer funds.

"We have ended taxpayer-funded fitness centers at EPA; a program that was costing American taxpayers $900,000 per year," said EPA spokesperson Jahan Wilcox. "Disinvestment in using federal funds for EPA fitness centers will allow the agency to invest this money in core activities to protect the environment."

The Washington Free Beacon first reported the decision on Monday. EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt vowed to get rid of the gym memberships after the newspaper reported earlier this year that the agency had paid $15,000 per year for employees in Las Vegas to upgrade to premium fitness memberships at 24 Hour Fitness. This was done even though the employees already had complimentary gym memberships at the University of Nevada's campus in Las Vegas.

Good riddance to the Russia myth — and blame Team Obama for promoting it

Ex-Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson’s testimony Wednesday should mark the definitive end of “Russia hacked the election” hysteria. Too bad it took so long to get to this point.

Johnson told the House Intelligence Committeeoutright that the Russians failed to alter “ballots, ballot counts or reporting of election results.”

Yes, it’s clear Russia (with Vladimir Putin’s full approval) orchestrated cyberattacks designed to influence the 2016 contest, and also pushed fake news.

But the hack, and release via WikiLeaks, etc., of Democratic e-mails produced nothing game-changing. The biggest impact was to confirm the obvious: The Democratic National Committee favored Hillary Clinton from the start.

And fake news mainly feeds people’s existing prejudices — which serves Putin’s goal of undermining our democracy, but fails to flip votes from one party to the other.

The law also bars employers from screening applicants based on their previous compensation.

In the absence of legislation from the U.S. Congress, governors in California, Connecticut, Illinois, New York, North Dakota and Oregon have signed equal pay lawsin recent years.

The latest move to outlaw disparate pay arrives as new studies indicate that Americanwomen earn 80 percent of what men earn doing comparable work.

Using Special Nails to Save Roofs — and Dollars

MOBILE, Ala. — New roofs are coming to Africatown, a hamlet of crumbling shotgun houses amid ancient pecan trees northwest of Mobile Bay.

The replacements, many of which will go to the neighborhood’s poor and aging homeowners, are being paid for by a first-of-its-kind state grant program that aims to lower homeowners’ insurance rates and reinforce Alabama homes against future windstorms.

Alabama officials, like state and local leaders around the country, expect disaster recovery costs to continue to grow as people live in vulnerable areas and climate change increases the frequency and intensity of natural disasters. At the same time, the Federal Emergency Management Agency is considering a plan that would shift more recovery costs to the states.

In response, some states are taking steps to ensure that communities can better survive disasters, efforts they hope will lower recovery costs down the line.

Alzheimer's: Extra virgin olive oil staves off disease, new study shows

Temple University research shows extra-virgin olive oil protects against memory loss, preserves the ability to learn and reduces conditions associated with Alzheimer's disease.

Researchers at the college's Lewis Katz School of Medicine found mice with EVOO-enriched diets had better memories and learning abilities compared to the rodents who didn't eat the oil.

The real effect of EVOO appeared in the inner-workings of the mice's brains. Neuron connections in the brain were better preserved in those on an EVOO diet.

Also, olive oil reduces brain inflammation and activates the autophagy process, whereby intracellular debris and toxins are removed. Such debris and toxins are firm markers of Alzheimer's disease. A reduction in autophagy, researchers claim, is suspected to be the beginning of Alzheimer's disease.

Scientists Want You To Do Everyone A Favor And Eat These Crabs

There’s a certain type of crab that’s eating up more desirable seafood off the New England coast. The crab’s population could be thinned if commercial fishing operations harvested the darn things, but there’s no money in it. The solution? Figure out a way to make people want these crabs on their dinner plates.

Chicken May Get More Expensive Because Birds Are Too Old And Fat To Breed

Years of very precise breeding means that modern poultry grow to massive sizes very quickly — sometimes in a matter of weeks. While this results in more meat in less time, it’s also causing a problem: Some birds are so top-heavy that they may not be all that interested in breeding, and there’s now an older breeding population of roosters and hens that are less likely to produce viable eggs.

Soros, Clinton-Linked Teneo Among Donors to McCain Institute

Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain in 2012 turned over nearly $9 million in unspent funds from his failed 2008 presidential campaign to a new foundation bearing his name, the McCain Institute for International Leadership.

The institute is intended to serve as a “legacy” for McCain and “is dedicated to advancing human rights, dignity, democracy and freedom.” It is a tax-exempt non-profit foundation with assets valued at $8.1 million and associated with Arizona State University.

Conservative and liberal critics, however, believe the institute constitutes a major conflict of interest for McCain, The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group has learned.

Critics worry that the institute’s donors and McCain’s personal leadership in the organization’s exclusive “Sedona Forum” bear an uncanny resemblance to the glitzy Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) that annually co-mingled special interests and powerful political players in alleged pay-to-play schemes.

The institute has accepted contributions of as much as $100,000 from billionaire liberal activist-funder George Soros and from Teneo, a for-profit company co-founded by Doug Band, former President Bill Clinton’s “bag man.” Teneo has long helped enrich Clinton through lucrative speaking and business deals.

And Bloomberg reported in 2016 on a $1 million Saudi Arabian donation to the institute, a contribution the McCain group has refused to explain publicly.

Next up: a special counsel to probe Team Obama’s obstruction of justice

By using fired FBI Director James Comey to attack the new Republican administration, Democrats have opened up a legal can of worms for the Obama administration.

Under sworn questioning, Comey has veered off the topic of President Trump and Russia and revealed several damning incidents in which his predecessor’s administration politically interfered in the Hillary Clinton e-mail investigation. And now the Senate will investigate Team Obama for obstruction of justice.

Specifically, the Senate Judiciary Committeeannounced last week it will hold hearings to “examine then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s involvement in the Clinton e-mail server investigation.”

The findings of the powerful panel, which has oversight of the Justice Department and FBI, could lead to a separate criminal investigation and the naming of another special counsel — exactly what Trump needs to distract attention from his growing legal woes.

What Lynch did reeks of obstruction. According to Comey his ex-boss:

Good Luck Getting Out Of That Subprime Auto Loan When Used Car Prices Crash

We've written frequently in recent months about the coming subprime auto crisis which will very likely be prompted by a wave of off-lease vehicles that will flood the market with used inventory over the coming years. In fact, Morgan Stanley recently predicted that the surge in used inventory could result in as much as a 50% crash in used car prices over the next couple of years which would, in turn, put further pressure on the new car market which has already resorted to record incentive spending to maintain volumes.

Trump Was Right: New Study Reveals Up to 5.7 Million Illegals Voted in Election

Media claimed illegals voting was "fake news"

A new study reveals that up to 5.7 million illegal immigrants were likely to have voted in the 2008 election, meaning Donald Trump was almost certainly right when he said this was the reason for him losing the popular vote to Hillary Clinton in the 2016 race.

After Trump made the claim that votes by millions of illegal immigrants cost him the popular vote, he was lambasted by the press, who blamed an Infowars story published on November 14 in which we reported that around 3 million illegals voted.

Ever since then, Trump’s assertion that millions of illegals voted has been called a “fake news” conspiracy theory.

Back in January, the New York Times again called Trump’s claim a “lie,” however a new study shows that if anything we underestimated the number of illegals who voted.

“A research group in New Jersey has taken a fresh look at postelection polling data and concluded that the number of noncitizens voting illegally in U.S. elections is likely far greater than previous estimates,” reports the Washington Times.

Border Patrol Ordered to “Negotiate” with Illegal Immigrants in Arizona

Despite President Trump’s pledge to tighten border security Border Patrol agents in one of the nation’s busiest sectors for illegal immigrants and drugs were ordered this week to stand back after a surveillance camera recorded a group entering the U.S. from Mexico, federal law enforcement sources told Judicial Watch. The incident occurred in the vast desert terrain between Arizona and Mexico, Border Patrol officials said. An agency Buckeye camera operated out of a mobile truck recorded the illegal crossers entering through Nogales, a town of around 20,000 adjacent to the Mexican state of Sonora. The video camera is used by the Border Patrol to monitor areas for illegal crossings and can be panned to follow crossers’ movements, sources told Judicial Watch.

Upon crossing the border, the group of illegal immigrants entered what the feds refer to as a “Samaritan camp,” according to a Border Patrol official who spoke on the condition of anonymity out of fear of retaliation from Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly’s management team. The special camps are operated by an Arizona-based open borders advocacy group called No Más Muertes (No More Deaths) and consist of several trailers on private property.

Although the organization’s sanctuary trailers are situated on the U.S. side of the border, federal agents are legally allowed to enter the property and remove the illegal crossers, law enforcement sources confirm. “If agents observe illegal conduct, apprehension does not require a warrant,” a federal law enforcement official with direct knowledge of the matter told Judicial Watch. In this case, probable cause had been established by the unlawful conduct observed by Border Patrol agents via the high-tech Buckeye camera. Instead of entering the property as legally allowed and removing the illegal aliens, agents were ordered to “negotiate” with the occupants,” Border Patrol officials said.

Photos produced by the surveillance camera were also produced to Judicial Watch by outraged Border Patrol officials who say Obama-era, open borders policies are still being implemented by Kelly’s management team.

Democrats Block Witnesses from Testifying in House Intel Probe

House Democrats are continuing to block testimony from about a dozen witnesses who sought to appear before the intelligence oversight panel investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Congressional officials said one of the key witnesses, former informal adviser to the Trump campaign Carter Page, was scheduled to testify at a closed hearing of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

But Democrats on the committee blocked the testimony, asserting they needed more time to prepare.

"He's the guy that many Democrats have been pointing to as the supposed mastermind and you would think they were interested hearing his story," said one Capitol Hill official.

Page, head of the firm Global Energy Capital, told the Washington Free Beacon he was disappointed by the failure to permit him to testify.

The House committee is also investigating whether the Obama administration improperly requested the unmasking of Americans' identities that were kept secret in classified transcripts of communications intercepts.

Tornado in Sussex Confirmed

(Smyrna) – A team of meteorologists from the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Mount Holly, New Jersey along with personnel from the Delaware Emergency Management Agency (DEMA), and Sussex County Emergency Operations conducted a site assessment this morning, where it was confirmed that a tornado touched down last evening in the Greenwood, Delaware area. There were no reports of injury, however some damage was reported.

A storage building at the Delaware Electric Cooperative site on U.S. Route 13 in Greenwood sustained some damage. Four structures on the northwest side of the intersection of Sugar Hill and St. Johnstown Roads were also damaged. Most of the damage affected farm buildings; however one nearby home had damage to its porch.

National Weather Service officials say that visual evidence, along with radar data received during the storm, helped to confirm their finding of a tornado that impacted a specific area of western Sussex County. The visual examination was enhanced by a DEMA aerial drone, which provided an overhead view of wooded areas that would have been difficult to examine from ground level.

Dems Cancel Committees, Slow Senate in Effort to Block Obamacare Repeal

Report: Opioid crisis hitting hospitals hard

WASHINGTON — A new report shows that hospitals are straining under a new influx of victims of the opioid crisis.

A report by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality tracked opioid-related inpatient hospital stays and emergency-room visits for 2014 and found that the rate of the former went up 64 percent over the numbers from 2005, while the latter nearly doubled.

Maryland is one of the most troubled states in this regard: The state had one of the highest rate of inpatient stays related to opioids in 2014, the report said, at 442.7 men per 100,000 in population and 367.2 women. They had the highest rate of emergency-department visits, with 353.5 men per 100,000 and 251.1 women.

With regard to inpatient stays, Maryland ranked in the top 25 percent in three of the four age groups specified by the study: 1 to 24, 25 to 44 and 45 to 64, ranking in the middle only in the 65-and-up group. For emergency-department visits, Maryland was in the top one-quarter in all age groups.

Davis 'surprised' Baltimore not among cities to receive federal crime funding

12 cities to receive Justice Department aid to lower crime

Baltimore is not among the cities.

The department will help local authorities study crime patterns and create specially tailored plans to reduce gang and gun violence, he said. Federal authorities will help cities find "data-driven, evidence-based strategies" that can be measured overtime.

"This program will help communities suffering from serious violent crime problems to build up their capacity to fight crime," Sessions said, speaking at a gathering of federal and state law enforcement officials in Bethesda, Maryland.

While markers in the blood were trending in the right direction, the calf still was not receiving enough of these infection-fighting antibodies from the supplemental feedings,” stated Erin Cantwell, mammal collection and conservation manager.

The only option after the 48-hour window was a plasma transfusion from the blood an adult giraffe. The Maryland Zoo decided to give the giraffe another boost to his immune system with the transfusion. The plasma was donated by the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

Attorney General Sessions Announces Creation of National Public Safety Partnership to Combat Violent Crime

As the Department of Justice continues its efforts to fulfill President Trump’s commitment to reducing violent crime in America, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced today that 12 cities are joining the Department’s newly organized National Public Safety Partnership (PSP). The announcement came during the opening session of a national summit organized by the Attorney General’s Task Force on Crime Reduction and Public Safety. The summit convened federal, state and local law enforcement to discuss how to support and replicate successful local violent crime reduction efforts.

A list of the cities is posted at www.nationalpublicsafetypartnership.org(link is external).

“Turning back the recent troubling increase in violent crime in our country is a top priority of the Department of Justice and the Trump Administration, as we work to fulfill the President’s promise to make America safe again,” said Attorney General Sessions. “The Department of Justice will work with American cities suffering from serious violent crime problems. There is no doubt that there are many strategies that are proven to reduce crime. Our new National Public Safety Partnership program will help these communities build up their own capacity to fight crime, by making use of data-driven, evidence-based strategies tailored to specific local concerns, and by drawing upon the expertise and resources of our Department.”

The Justice Department created PSP and the task force in response to President Trump’s February 9, 2017, Executive Order charging the agency with leading a national effort to combat violent crime. The partnership provides a framework for enhancing federal support of state, local and tribal law enforcement officials and prosecutors as they aggressively investigate and pursue violent criminals, specifically those involved in gun crime, drug trafficking and gang violence.

DSL providers save faster internet for wealthier communities

Noncable internet providers offer broadband speed to just 22 percent of the population in poor areas

When noncable internet providers — outlets like AT&T or Verizon — choose which communities to offer the fastest connections, they don’t juice up their networks so everyone in their service areas has the option of buying quicker speeds. Instead, they tend to favor the wealthy over the poor, according to an investigation by the Center for Public Integrity.

The Center’s data analysis found that the largest noncable internet providers collectively offer faster speeds to about 40 percent of the population they serve nationwide in wealthy areas compared with just 22 percent of the population in poor areas. That leaves tens of millions of Americans with the choice of either purchasing an expensive connection from the only provider in their area, typically a cable company, or just doing the best they can with slower speeds. Middle-income areas don’t fare much better, with a bit more than 27 percent of the population having access to a DSL provider’s fastest speeds. The Center reached its conclusions by merging the latest Federal Communications Commission data with income information from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Memphis activists target Confederate monuments after failed attempt to dig up general's grave

Social justice warriors in Memphis, Tennessee are staging a rally to pressure city officials into removing Confederate statues in the community, the latest stunt aimed at snubbing out the region’s forefathers.

Organizers for the group that calls itself “Take Em Down 901” are advertising the protest at Bruce Elementary School on Bellevue Boulevard for 6 p.m. Tuesday “to discuss action steps to remove Confederate statues in Memphis,” according to the group’s Facebook page.

The group is led by Tami Sawyer, “a political leader, speaker, writer & activist for Social Justice and Educational Equity.”

Sawyer told WMC last week that she’s leading a boycott of the city’s famed 4th Bluff Park until the city removes statue of Jefferson Davis, and her group is urging the public to avoid scheduled summer events like “Downtown Yoga in the Park” and an art show until they get their way.

“Having the statutes (sic) is another thing that says black people don’t matter in Memphis,” she said.

Why They Are After Trump

For several months, I have felt that the Trump=Russia witch hunt was a diversion. Sure, they want Trump out, but not for the stated reason – not for Russia. They want Trump out because what he represents is a voice for people who are tired of seeing every libertine, immoral, property rights and wealth destroying progressive platform agenda shoved down their throats. Trump ran against almost every plank of this life-destroying force.

I wrote on this topic in March; from the conclusion:

Russia is a diversion; it is useful as a means to an end. It isn’t the end. The end is the salvation of the many pillars of the progressive agenda; the end is the final destruction of western, classical liberal, civilization.

Don’t expect me to explain it as well as Judge Napolitano can and has; I have listened to and read several commentators on the topic of the special prosecutor, Comey’s testimony, etc. I can only offer a semi-ignorant layman’s summary.

A special prosecutor was appointed with no crime to prosecute; with no crime to prosecute, you have a dozen of the most aggressive, capable attorneys looking for something…anything. Show me the man and I will show you the crime.

"I have one message to Iran: Do not threaten Israel"

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Monday warned Iran not to threaten Israel after Tehran launched ballistic missiles at a Syrian base of the Islamic State group.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard said it had fired six missiles from western Iran into northeastern Syria on Sunday, targeting "terror bases."

The Guard said the strike was "in retaliation" for June 7 attacks in Tehran that killed 17 people in the first IS-claimed operations in the country.

Netanyahu has repeatedly said Iran is a threat to the Jewish state, the Middle East and potentially the world.

"We follow their actions and we follow their words," he said Monday. "I have one message to Iran: Do not threaten Israel."

"The army and our security forces are constantly monitoring the activity of Iran in the region," Netanyahu told senior members of his Likud party on Monday.

"This activity also includes their attempts to establish themselves in Syria and, of course, to transfer advanced weapons to Hezbollah and other operations," a party statement quoted him as saying.

DISGUSTING: Liberals Mocked Student Who Was Beaten To Death By North Korea

Comedy Central’s pathetic favorite, Larry Wilmore was one of the chief scumbags that took to mocking an American being held hostage, and had started one of his shows (when he still had it) with an eight-minute bit of jeering that acknowledged the North Korean regime’s interpretation of the events, mocked Warmbier’s tormented tears, and even posted a graphic that labeled the now deceased young man as an “ass” — based on the initials of a phony fraternity. So what’s the message? Let’s mock and ridicule white boys because we are racist, heartless ones. Here’s a little snippet, just watch for yourself:

Sea Turtle Washed Ashore In Ocean City On Saturday

OCEAN CITY – A leatherback sea turtle washed ashore in Ocean City last weekend, hours after it was first seen in the shallow areas of the water.

Tyaskin resident Jody Earp said she and her family were on the beach for the OC Air Show when they saw the sea turtle swimming close to the shore on 4th Street between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Earp, who was in the water, said she saw a fin appear in front of her before immediately yelling out that it was a shark.

“People had gotten out of the water fast and then within moments we could see it was a turtle as he stuck his head up,” she said.

Earp said she, her husband and several people gathered around to view the sea turtle, but expressed concern that a nearby lifeguard did not clear the water.

The lawsuit claimed Wilson "unjustifiably shot and killed" Brown, using "an unnecessary and unreasonable" amount of force.

Cops shocked by Md. teen caught impersonating police

WASHINGTON — Police in Montgomery County want to know if residents interacted with a teen trying to pass himself off as a police officer.

“I was shocked at his demeanor and his boldness,” said Fourth District Commander Laura Lanham. “It really does give me pause.”

Police arrested 19-year-old Philip Jonathan Ross, of Dickerson, Maryland, for impersonating a police officer on June 12 after an officer saw a white Ford Crown Victoria driving at a high rate of speed and using its emergency white and red lights as if they were sirens.

Several cars did move out of the way for the speeding vehicle and at one point the car even attempted to back up another officer making a traffic stop.

Philip Morris uses chemical industry consultants to perpetuate 'light cigarette' myth

Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, the tobacco giant maintains that "low-tar" cigarettes are safer than regular ones

In a landmark ruling nearly a decade ago, a federal judge ordered tobacco companies to stop lying.

After listening to 84 witnesses and perusing tens of thousands of exhibits, U.S. District Judge Gladys Kessler of the District of Columbia took a year to write a 1,652-page opinion detailing the companies’ elaborate strategy to deny the harmful effects of smoking.

“In short, [the companies] have marketed and sold their lethal product with zeal, with deception, with a single-minded focus on their financial success, and without regard for the human tragedy or social costs that success exacted,” Kessler wrote in United States of America v. Philip Morris USA.

Kessler noted that the Justice Department, in a racketeering lawsuit, had presented “overwhelming evidence” of a conspiracy to defraud the public. She ordered the companies to take a number of actions, including ceasing to claim there was such a thing as a low-tar cigarette that reduced the risk of disease. The evidence showed this simply was not true.

CREEPY JOE STRIKES AGAIN: Former Vice President Biden Kisses Woman Without Consent

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s history of lecherous behavior has been seared into the American consciousness. Despite cries from the American public to cease this predatory behavior, Uncle Joe the Pervert continues his reign of terror even out of office.

The latest attack came Wednesday when a young African American woman posted an Instagram video from her college graduation.

The video starts out innocently enough—with the young woman and the former vice president smiling. Suddenly, Biden embraces her cheek without asking for written (never mind spoken) consent. After the woman realizes what’s happening, she immediately lets out an incoherent scream before pulling away in terror.

Biden was the commencement speaker at Morgan State University—a location that, of course, provides ample opportunities to prey on unsuspecting women.

Black Feminist Should Reject Wonder Woman Because She Isn't Black. Or Something.

Wonder Woman is a fantastic movie. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it and I want to take my oldest kid to go see it soon. It was nice to see a female superhero get a great movie for a change, something I've actually craved for a while. That may be surprising considering my anti-SJW bonafides here on the pages of PJ Media, but it's true.

It's been unsurprising that many feminists have embraced her as their own. After all, she's a woman fighting a war at a time when the patriarchy was actually a very real thing...and kicking more butt than any man in the movie in the process.

What is unfortunate is that for some people, even that isn't enough. Arielle Iniko Newton begins this piece about the movie at Essense with:

Author's Note: If you ain’t a Black woman or femme, this conversation ain’t for you.

Yes, that's actually how this dreck starts out. Frankly, with an invitation like that, how can a white cis male such as myself refuse?

Republican Study Committee Lists Conservative Demands for Senate Health Care Bill

The conservative Republican Study Committee (RSC) drafted a letter to send to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) demanding that the Senate adopt the House’s more conservative health care reforms.

The letter, obtained by the Independent Journal Review, details the Committee’s concerns with the Senate’s bill to repeal Obamacare. The letter states, “We write to express our serious concerns regarding recent reports suggesting that the Senate’s efforts to produce a reconciliation bill repealing the Affordable Care Act are headed in a direction that may jeopardize final passage in the House of Representatives.”

The conservatives cheered the House’s health care discourse, noting that the “vigorous and robust debate” between members allowed for crucial changes that allowed the bill to pass. Meanwhile, the Senate has remained secretive about its health care bill despite reports that McConnell will have the Senate on the bill before the July 4th recess.

Republican Study Committee Chairman Mark Walker (R-SC) wrote that there are four parts of the House’s Americans Health Care Act (AHCA) that remain crucial for House support of the bill:

Florida Democratic Party Chair: 'They're Like Children, These Black Lawmakers'

Florida Democratic Party chairman Stephen Bittel is considering resigning following backlash from racially charged comments he made toward members of the legislative black caucus.

The tension started at a Saturday fundraiser for the Florida Democratic Party, the Miami Herald reports. Bittel shortened the program by removing a segment in which state legislators would be recognized.

Bittel referred to the anger from lawmakers over the snub as "childish." Bittel also said State Sen. Oscar Braynon (D.), a black legislator who expressed lawmakers' unhappiness to the chairman, was acting "like a three year old."

After the dinner, white State Sen. Lauren Book (D.) asked Bittel about the situation.

"They're like children, these black lawmakers. They just don't get it," Bittel said. "I raised more money in this amount of time than they ever could."

Council Approves Tiered Parking Rates At Inlet Lot On Fourth Of July

OCEAN CITY — Concerned about the Fourth of July falling on Tuesday this year, Ocean City officials on Monday approved a further tiered flat fee schedule for parking at the Inlet on the holiday in the hopes of ensuring the lot stays full.

In 2013, the Mayor and Council approved a one-day only flat fee of $50 for parking all day at the Inlet lot on the Fourth of July. The intent was to allow visitors to park in the prime Inlet lot all day for an upfront fee of $50 and stay for the entire day straight through the Fourth of July fireworks and beyond.

In addition, the primary goal was to alleviate the massive traffic jams on the Inlet lot following the fireworks when hundreds of cars would stack up trying to pay as they exited the lot, sometimes for several hours. The $50 flat fee for all-day parking at the Inlet lot was successful in the first year and the following year, the fee schedule was modified to $50 if entering the lot before 3 p.m. and $30 after 3 p.m.

On Monday, Public Works Director Hal Adkins recommended a new fee schedule at the Inlet lot for the Fourth of July when the holiday falls on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Adkins and his staff recommended continuing the $50 fee at the start of the day from 6 a.m. to noon, $30 if entering from noon to 3 p.m., $20 if entering from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and just $10 after 6 p.m.

Chelsea Clinton Scolds Steve Bannon for ‘Fat-Shaming’ Sean Spicer

A grouchy Chelsea Clinton took issue Tuesday with a joke reportedly made by White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon — accusing him of ‘fat-shaming’ White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer.

The former first daughter, who is definitely not running for political office anytime soon, was reacting to a report in the Atlantic about the scaling back of White House press briefings. The article included a text message Bannon sent to a reporter asking why fewer briefings were being held on-camera.

“Sean got fatter,” Bannon reportedly quipped.

The response did not sit well with Clinton 3.0, who accused the White House of “using fat shaming to justify increased opacity.”

University Socialist Group Calls for Beheading Republicans

A student group at the University of Georgia is facing a police investigation after saying on Twitter that Republicans should be “guillotined.”

Responding to a story about a professor at the Art Institute of Washington who allegedly claimed that House Republicans should be “lined up and shot,” the Young Democratic Socialists at the University of Georgia reportedly tweeted that the Republican members of the House should instead be “guillotined.”

In response to a storm of criticism and a statement from administrators claiming that the campus police department is investigating their call for violence, the Young Democratic Socialists chapter announced that they would disassociate from the University. The student group deleted not only the offending tweet but their Twitter account in its entirety.

“Recent events have made clear that the only way forward is through the democratic will and revolutionary spirit of our members and community.."

College Professor Calls Whites ‘Inhuman @ssholes’ and Says ‘Let Them Die’

There is nowhere that outright racism is really considered acceptable in today’s society — nowhere except academia, that is. On college campuses, it’s fine for professors to spew all kinds of race-based hatred, as long as it’s directed towards the “right” race. Consider this Trinity College professor, who responded to news of the Steve Scalise shooting by saying that first responders should have just let them die… because some of the victims were white.

Johnny Eric Williams is an associate professor of sociology, and was evidently incensed that Scalise, a congressional aide, and two Capitol Police officers would not succumb to their wounds after being targeted by James T. Hodgkinson, a progressive Bernie Sanders supporter.

Sunday, Williams took to his Facebook page, writing that the victims of the shooting should have died. “It is past time for the racially oppressed to do what people who believe themselves to be ‘white’ will not do, put end to the vectors of their destructive mythology of whiteness and their white supremacy system. #LetThemFuckingDie,” he wrote.

Is Earth Alone? Kepler Finds 4,034 Possible Companions

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Are we still alone?

Setting the stage for the next chapter in the quest to end cosmic loneliness, astronomers released a list on Monday of 4,034 objects they are 90 percent sure are planets orbiting other stars.

The new list is the final and most reliable result of a four-year cosmic census of a tiny region of the Milky Way by NASA’s Kepler spacecraft.

“The search for planets is the search for life,” said Natalie Batalha, a Kepler mission scientist from NASA’s Ames Research Center. “These results will form the basis for future searches for life.”

Extrapolated from one small patch to the entire sky, the data will help NASA design a space telescope for the 2030s or thereabouts, big and powerful enough to discern the images of planets around other stars.

Three University of Albany Students Who Faked a Hate Crime Only Get Probation

Hate crimes carry heavy penalties when someone is convicted of one. But what happens if someone is found to have faked one? The punishment is much less severe — or, in the case of three college students, practically non-existent.

Ariel Agudio, Asha Burwell, and Alexis Briggs were all students at the University at Albany. They claimed that they were attacked while riding a bus by a group of white men, who called them the n-word and assaulted them. The three students also got into a fight with other bus riders, but accused the other people of starting the altercation.

The hate crime accusation took off like wildfire. A Twitter hashtag campaign was launched, #DefendBlackGirlsUAlbany. Protest marches at the school took place, with Black Lives Matter participating and arranging for speakers to attend. NFL players and celebrities began to chime in. And even Hillary Clinton spoke up about the alleged incident:

St. Louis Cardinals Take Huge Stand For Christianity… Tick Off LGBT Community

So the LGBT community can have their own parades around the nation, they can dedicate a whole month to their sexuality, and they have everyone else afraid of saying something that is slightly less than idolizing. Why, then, is the idea of the St. Louis Cardinals having a Christian Day so unbearable?

Why is the LGBT community so intolerant of Christians? Why aren’t they more understand of people who are different than them? Why are they denying their right to celebrate their faith, while at the same right demanding the right to celebrate who they choose to sleep with?

Seems hypocritical if you ask me.

The governor was joined by French officials and business leaders, as well as representatives from the United States’ and Canadian Embassies in Paris, and state officials and members of the Maryland delegation at the event, which was hosted by the Office of Science & Technology of the French Embassy in the U.S.

“Maryland is proud of our excellent relationship with France, which is evident through the success of the French-headquartered companies in our state,” said Governor Hogan. “Looking ahead, we want to further expand Maryland’s relationship with France and find ways to do even more together in the future.”

UPDATE: Mauled teen texted mom before attack

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - UPDATE, 10:35 a.m. MONDAY: Alaska State Troopers have identified the victim of Sunday's bear mauling at Bird Ridge as 16-year-old Patrick Cooper of Anchorage.

ORIGINAL STORY:

A parent's worst nightmare came to life this Father's Day when a teen running an annual trail race was fatally mauled by a bear near Bird Creek.

Law enforcement officials and fellow competitors said a 16-year-old boy was participating in the Robert Spurr Memorial Hill Climb at Bird Ridge, which was being run for the 29th year straight.

Dozens of runners, including the teen, toed the starting line that morning for the mountain race that begins at the start of Bird Ridge Trail, and meanders through heavily wooded terrain. As for the ascent, that's a 3,400-foot vertical climb that spans three miles for adult racers and half that for juniors, those who are 17 and younger taking on the mountain.

Challenging terrain, but in those three decades, many said the territory had never proven to be a big problem.

That all changed shortly after noon Sunday.
