Dollar General is like a 7-11 store. You pay for convenience. There are no bargains there. Dollar tree let's you buy in small quantities at 1.00 each - not a bargain either. Out 9f the two Dollar tree,in my opinion, is much better buy.

That's not bad for a dozen fried eggs. Probably cheaper if you do the cooking yourself, though.

It makes you think twice about having your own backyard chickens,

Great advertising for them.

So wrong for stores to do this. People aren't working so they raise prices. Just plain wrong.

This while eggs are being smashed due to low demand????

I don't see the issue. So you drive 20+ miles to save a dollar

Disgusting who is the Manager.

They can’t get them to market. Trucking industry is screwed. The brokers are trying to take advantage of the drivers and get rates lower than anything seen. We have a surplus of TP in the country as well. A lot of truckers parked their trucks and deferred payments on their equipment. What the brokers is offering ai barely covering fuel, and tolls. We need legislation on brokers that they have to be transparent at all times at what the customer offered them and what they are going to pay the trucker for a load. Your sitting at home collecting 100% commissions from screwing truckers.

IF we ha d a REAL local media they would be up in there faces calling them out.

Rationally thinking people may consider increased costs created by the virus for all food stuffs. As supply begins to be challenged, we know the results, and I am sure I do not need to spell it our the reader of this blog.

4:40 is right. I also think 9:14 will prove to be right.

Wrong I live in Marcela with a family of 4 kids and the price is ridiculous.

It’s Mardela there are plenty of local owned chicken eggs for sale

They were $3.49 in the Acme yesterday with signs everywhere about the supply issues. 30 cents more for being at a Dollar General isn't gouging.....so buy 2 loaves of bread it's only $1.25......

If we had a strong local town commission they would be jumping up and down. Bet they wish they hadn't pushed it down the townspeople throats.

Yes that is wrong of them, but don't buy them for right now. You can find other proteins to fill the void.

And don't forget shippers and receivers too. This has been going on for generations. Ten years or so ago I sent emails to every governor, representative, agency, I could think of addressing this issue as well as some others.

And as usual, not much, if anything was done about it.
