BUT-- the manager said she was calling employees about scheduling, and a lot of them don"t want to come back to work yet because they're making so much better money on UNEMPLOYMENT. She said she may have a very hard time staffing the place.
They receive their regular unemployment, plus that extra $600/week from the CARES Act that the federal government gives them through the end of July. That amounts to about $24./hr.
Most members of Congress knew they were messing up when they rushed to pass this bill.

Thats what Dems want aka SOCIALISIM.
In the "old days" if you were called back to work your unemployment check ended whether you returned or not.
Employers PAY into the unemployment fund at a cost related to their own company PAY OUTS to laid off workers !
Small employers get screwed on both ends but all of you dumb asses think that they are all getting rich.

Well if restaurants can have only 50% customers than we get to only tip 50% too!
Once you call them back--the unemployment ends period----they decline--they quit very easy
There are too many out of high school and college Young adults to count that need entry level jobs and aren't getting unemployment benefits. Hire them all.
Exactly let the free loading I dont want return to work crowd suffer on their own, the pay out they currently have will end.
