The state of Missouri is suing disgraced televangelist Jim Bakker for selling a fake coronavirus cure on his website and show.
Attorney General Eric S Schmitt named Bakker and his production company, Morningside Church Productions, as the defendants in the suit which was filed in the state's circuit court of Stone County.
Both Bakker and the church are based in the state.
The suit states that the defendants 'violated the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act by falsely promising to consumers that Silver Solution can cure, eliminate, kill, or deactivate coronavirus and/or boost elderly consumers' immune system and help keep them healthy when there is, in fact, no vaccine, pill, potion or other product available to treat or cure coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).'

Why is he still around?
Apparently he is still as crooked as he ever was. He made a mockery of all TV evangelists so no one trusted any of them. He has a special place in hell waiting for him. He is the lowest of the low. His make-up queen wife, Tammy Fay,was just as bad as him. He needs to be in prison for all his days, til he gets to hell.
Thank God someone stepped up. This guy has been broadcasting and selling this snake oil professing 100 million plus will die from the virus. He also sells his "doomsday survival kits" to any and all in the name of the Lord. Sad sad days we're living in

He and Jimmy Swagart were two of the most crooked preachers of all time. I sometimes wonder about Joel Olsten. Billy and Franklin Graham are the only ones that could ever be believed and trusted. They truly are/were real Christians.
