The following bills: HB388, HB403/SB903, & HB667/SB850 are up for consideration this legislative session, and if passed, would turn Maryland into a sanctuary state.
HB388 prohibits MD law enforcement officers from making immigration status inquiries about lawfully arrested individuals or individuals who have served a sentence in MD, from honoring an ICE detainer warrant for these individuals, or transferring these individuals to any federal immigration authorities without an MD judicial warrant.
HB403/SB903 would block federal immigration authorities from accessing public schools, hospitals, and courthouses.
HB677/SB850 which bans private entities from receiving MD state government contracts to house immigration detainees, and to terminate any such existing contracts by 10/01/2021.
If any of these bills should come before you for a vote, I urge that you oppose and vote against any measures that would lead to Maryland becoming a sanctuary state.

I declare Wicomico County a Second Amendment Sanctuary and remind EVERYONE, Maryland does NOT prohibit open carry of long guns.
That means it’s legal to open carry any “long” gun [barrel 18” minimum] anywhere in the state of Md. Use discretion. 😂 lol

How can any State law trump (no pun intended) override Federal law? Harboring, Hiding and giving aid to any illegal is against federal law 8 US code Sec. 1324 and is a Felony. I just can't figure this out anyone else stumped on this?

The Dems would not want illegals if they voted Republican. Anyone who thinks illegals don't vote is very naïve. They are given drivers license and fake documents easily obtained. They vote via mail in ballots so that they don't have to go to the polling locations where English is spoken.
Make the illegals uncomfortable among us. They'll leave soon enough.
