Got what he deserved. It is a lack of responsibility like his siblings that has caused rot in our society. So I guess they would have been ok if he had killed the clerk? I saw this attitude creep into the schools back in the 60's and it continues to this day.

LMAO, stupid lady. Really very simple. If two people have a gun, and one of them is committing a crime and pointing it at the other. Someone is going to get shot. You're OPINION that the clerk was wrong to shoot your brother is just that, you're OPINION. I'm quite sure the relatives of the clerk feel their OPINION that it was ok for him to shoot your brother is their opinion also. So, now we have to look at the facts. Your brother is committing a crime and threatening the life of the clerk. Said clerk was minding his own business WORKING, he didn't threaten your brother. He defended himself while in imminent danger. Your brother picked the wrong store to ROB. See, very simple!
