Rape suspect, 19, who 'held his victim at gunpoint' in 2017 attack, is arrested after cops use DNA

Philadelphia police used DNA testing and genealogy research to arrest a teenager accused of holding a woman at gunpoint and sexually assaulting her in 2017.

Mason Alexander Hall, 19, is being held on a $1 million bond and facing sexual assault charges after he allegedly raped an unidentified woman at Norristown Farm Park.

According to reports, the victim was walking through the park around 11am on August 1 when Hall, then 17-years-old, grabbed her from behind.

He allegedly pointed a semi-automatic weapon at her, forced her into a secluded pasture and sexually assaulted her.

Although the victim could not give a full description of Hall, authorities were able to create a composite sketch based on DNA collected from her clothes.

They were able to reconstruct an approximate rendition of his appearance from DNA? Awesome!

Too bad it will be banned as “racist”.
