Rolling Thunder's last ride is fast-approaching. Over May 24-27, the group will host its iconic four-day national motorcycle rally in Washington, D.C., for the 32nd – and final – time.
Here what's happening (and when and where), per Rolling Thunder's website:
Friday, May 24
5 p.m. | Washington National Cathedral | "Blessing of the Bikes"
9 p.m. | Candle Light Vigil at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial
9 p.m. | Candle Light Vigil at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial
Saturday, May 25
9 a.m.–9 p.m. | Thunder Alley (22nd Street and Constitution Avenue NW) | Vendors and biker-related goods.

Just wondering why this is the final time? And thank you for this wonderful show of support especially the Vietnam Wall Memorial part.
I can tell you that it's being canceled because the bikers completely shut down the entire city, there's that many of them. That's the plain truth to the whole thing.

I have been there several times and I can tell you it certainly is a sight to see. The Marines that hold their salutes for the entire procession is remarkable. You should go on Sunday for the bike parade if not for anything else.
City cannot handle the traffic. Imagine that, DC with traffic problems on a national holiday. Worse part, this traffic nightmare is known each and every year....not that there isn't 364 days to properly plan for it either.

That's completely wrong Joe, pentagon police where very lax with the staging of the demonstration riders and traffic control. The city of DC didn't stop this patriot event, the founders of Rolling Thunder decided to make this the final year. Big lost for all POW/MIA military veterans, their families, and all great patriotic supporters.
Logistics, expense, and harrassment by pentagon & dc police is what is making this the final Rolling Thunder. Thank you Artie Mueller for 32 years of managing this demonstration in support of our POW/MIA warriors.
