Update: California Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D) said that Trump's threat to pull FEMA funding for California "insults the memory of those who died" in the 2018 wildfires. A total of 98 civilians and six firefighters were killed during the 8,527 fires which raged throughout California last year, burning a cumulative 1,893,913 acres - the largest amount of burned acreage recorded in a fire season according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CalFire).

President Trump on Wednesday announced over Twitter that he has ordered the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to top sending money to California "unless they get their act together, which is unlikely."
"Billions of dollars are sent to the State of California for Forrest fires that, with proper Forrest Management, would never happen," Trump tweeted just one day after California Governor Gavin Newsom was sworn in, adding "It is a disgraceful situation in lives & money!"

Using her logic, how is it not a disgrace then to the families of people that illegal immigrants have killed when she doesn't want to fund the border wall?
They are a sanctuary state, disregarding the federal government ruling, but want federal money.
Some want it both ways.
That money got spent, but not for what was intended by the Feds.
Screw California
The HELL with California. Let it BURN!!!
Good they dont use it for forest management, they use it for all the ILLEGALS they are trying to protect! Great decision by President Trump.
