Inside Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Strange Allure Among Conservatives

If you’ve been paying at least moderate attention, you’d have noticed that the tidal wave of criticism and scrutiny over Congresswoman-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez among conservatives has just the slightest tinge of agreement.

It should be strange to no one: Immigration hawks love pointing out how Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, as recently as 2015, felt about how open borders affects unskilled labor (to its detriment). Sanders is no less an avowed socialist as Ocasio-Cortez, yet for her part, the point of agreement among conservatives appears to be big tech’s cozying up to American power-centers.

All it took was one big Amazon deal.

After local governments countrywide spent months stooping as low as they could for CEO Jeff Bezos, the tech behemoth officially announced in November the location of their new headquarters in New York and D.C. New York in particular offered billions in subsidies and tax breaks to the e-commerce company.

A Go-Fund-Me to send Bernie and Occasional Cortex to Venezuela on one-way tickets and a million cash each would take mere minutes to fund.

She is the great pretender. Kim k. of congress. However working for Ted Kennedy at 19 for a year and then "volunteered" for Bernie sanders campaign and part of his trusted inner circle at 26. super PAC progressives dumped big money into her and it paid off. Only 9 percent of her district voted but it was enough to get the California green energy, gender neutral and every other group into congress all balled into one. Media loves her and she spins everything into a positive for herself. Masterful.

My take is that she looks like an attractive cartoon character, appealing to those who watched way too much Cartoon Channel under the influence of drugs as adolescents. It's only a matter of time until somebody makes a Muppet-like puppet in her image, with a brain to match.

I don't see anything attractive about this socialist.
