Watch: Black Faith Leaders Ask, ‘Who Do You Want to Represent You?’

A coalition of black faith leaders has released a new video that condemns intolerant political leaders who urge violence against Republicans and who discriminate against Christians.

“Who do you want to represent you?” the Coalition of African-American Pastors (CAAP) asks Americans.

CAAP president Rev. William Owens is urging Christians to vote with their core values:

If Christians vote according to their core values, the choice becomes very clear. #ElectionDay https://t.co/0l3EumAqbX

In August, the black faith leader replied to critics of his decision to meet with President Donald Trump at the White House.

I would say someone who is not prideful or boastful, but humble and kind.

Someone who follows the 10 commandments, and is faithful to their spouse.

Someone who is honest and doesn't lie or twist the truth.

Someone who is honest in their business dealings.

If people of faith, if Christians were to vote in accordance with their principles and values, these are some things they would have to find in a political candidate.

I can think of at LEAST one who wouldn't qualify.

Merely be honest and represent the people and not themselves. No hard to do.
