On 11/4/2018 at 0105 hours troopers responded to the area of the Salisbury Bypass north of St Lukes Road for a report of a vehicle in the median. Upon arrival, it was learned that a 2010 Chevrolet truck being operated by Mackenzie Martin was traveling north on the Bypass when she attempted to make a U-turn through the grass median. Due to the incline of the median and recent rain, the vehicle became stuck in the mud.

When troopers made contact with Martin they were able to smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage while speaking with her. Martin completed field sobriety tests poorly and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. She was released with dui related citations.
