If The Disunited States Of America Is To Survive...

“We are one American nation. We must unite. We have to unify. We have to come together.”

Every faction in our irreparably fractious and fragmented country calls for unity, following events that demonstrate just how disunited the United States of America is.

They all do it.

Calls for unity come loudest from the party of submissives - the GOP. The domineering party is less guilt-ridden about this elusive thing called “unity.”

Democrats just blame Republicans for its absence in our polity and throughout our increasingly uncivil society.

These days, appeals to unity are made by opportunistic politicians, who drape themselves in the noble toga of patriotism on tragic occasions. The latest in many was the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre of Oct. 27.

In the name of honesty—and comity—let us quit the unity charade.

Either the union dissolves into a 2nd American and a socialist dictatorship or the whole country will become a dictatorship under the repressive socialists.

America will survive as we have known and grown to love. The good out weights the bad. Take a breath, we will win. Especially with President Donald J. Trump.

The dissolution is inevitable.

Dave T: I sure wish there could be a happy ending to this debacle, but I'm afraid it doesn't appear realistic at this juncture. In fact, it's really starting to shape of a battle between good and evil, and I don't see much good in a movement that terms itself "resistance." I also don't see much good in that same movement's attitude toward authority, the law, corruption, honesty, and worst of all power. These are the same people, that under the Obozo Obama years, openly confessed to supporting the Chinese Mao philosophy, in which "governmental power grows best from the barrel of a gun."
Not sure about the rest of you, but I don't plan on giving up my freedom for the sake of some goofy left wing ideology that gives total power and control to the government. Isn't that why America was founded? So that people could have freedom both to worship and to live without over taxation and governmental control. Mr. Trump may be obnoxious at times, but please know, his love for this country and its people is undeniable and people need to appreciate that on both sides!

Mandated term limits on all Politians. No retirement and no medical benefits or benefits of any kind unless they transfer it over to be paid by them personally. This would make them take the job seriously and introduce common sense bills they would continue after they are forced out.
