So much for "eating good in the neighborhood".

No surprise, I have never eaten at Applebee's and not gotten diarrhea.

While right next door, they are building another shell without a tenant. The beginning of one heck of a crash.

That was one of the more reasonably priced restaurants in OC that even I could afford.

Its Obama's fault.

"On Tuesday, Applebee's announced that it anticipated the closure of 60 to 80 locations in 2018. Its sister brand, IHOP, is expected to close 30 to 40 locations. Applebee's closed 99 locations in 2017 and 46 locations in 2016."

The Wall Street Journal subsequently published an article that blamed the failure of the restaurant chain on an exodus of millennials. The parent company declared bankruptcy about a year ago and closings are a part of their reorganization to keep the company alive.

For that type of restaurant chain, Ruby Tuesday’s is much better. The Applebee’s in Salisbury sucks. Poor service and poor choices. Chili’s is even better if you like chain restaurants. I believe the best chain restaurants is Carrabba‘s - Always spectacular service and great food with great portions that you have to take home with you for an inexpensive price.

O.C. taxes are out of control

Good ! Stay home and cook people. None of these places were great dining or culinary experiences. Who needs them and the crappy jobs they proffer.

My problem with Applebee's in Salisbury was all the dead flies in the establishment, IN THE WINTER. I can only wonder where all the maggots were that the flies were hatching from, IN THE WINTER, inside of the restaurant. The flies were not coming in from the outside, IN THE WINTER. Quit eating there and have never gone back.

The fern bar concept is mature and has run it's course.
Look for the others in this segment to do the same. It's better to support the local independents.

No oc taxes in West oc... Applebee's is not in city limits

Ok idiot tell me how the town of oc taxes affect a west ocean city establishment..

I sense a Starbucks with a drive thru at the “shell” going next to Applebee’s to replace the tiny one across the street..................

Put a Texas roadhouse there it would be packed all the time.

West Ocean City business's do not pay OC taxes
Poor construction; this building has had mold issues since it opened

8:10, they will oc taxes soon enough. It has been debated for a while now, and the island always wins.

That parking lot was a hassle to get into, you would have to circle the building and come back around to the front just to get in. Who built this?

When your food and service suck what did you expect?? Now bring on all the what a great place it was. HAHAHA.

OBAMA job FORCE. Lazy. Incompetent. Rude employees.

The "island" only wins when it comes to items concerning the "island". They have no say so with west OC or grabbing one's pocket book or wallet. IF SO, Rickie Poo would figured that out years ago!

No.

I visited there last winter while shopping at the outlets, with my 2 little boys, they had no heat and the place was empty.
