It’s uncanny the way perhaps the three most distinguished Supreme Court nominees in my lifetime—Robert Bork, Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh—have all been brutally slimed. Those nominees who sailed through, and now sit on the court, are all distinguished citizens with admirable careers, but their places in the legal history of the United States are unlikely to be as significant as those of Bork, Thomas and Kavanaugh.
In other words, it strikes me as notable that the best of the best get the worst treatment. I think we’d do well to ponder this.
First of all, it’s not new. Bork and Thomas were quite a while ago, one or two generations, depending on your standard of measurement. The sliming of Judge Kavanaugh is part of a long-standing pattern, not a surprising eruption of some new form of feminism or just part of the current political conflict.
I think the pattern has to do with the failure of the left to win substantive debates on central issues. Not so long ago, the left, usually in the form of pidgin Marxism (“the world is the way it is because of economic and social factors, and if you want to change things, you must change the economic and social structure”) Or, as candidate Clinton put it, “it’s the economy, stupid.”
No more.

It's infectious.
Have you ever handled a freshly caught eel?
In order to 'win' one has to demonstrate superior skill, intellect, and intelligence.
This seems to be scarce commodity in the Dim party. If they DO have it it's a closely guarded secret when they try to apply it to their rhetoric. It seems they enjoy being WRONG in their arguments and presentations MOST of the time. When they get caught they act like its cool and to save face they then compound the ignorance by assuming the general public is dumb enough to buy it. Sure they have superior numbers of registrants yet the Lincoln theory is still good sense. Fooling people into thinking you're always right and your goal is for the good of the populous is an old trick bolstered by a gift for their support.
Causing people to understand the core value of an issue is the real trick...one they have yet to master. Lies NEVER substitute for irrefutable truth when the aggregate answer is the base for decision. That being said, along with other subterfuge they then play the race/gender/class card to muddie the water and hope it yields the desired result omitting the FACT that other races and classes of the total mass are more intelligent than they were when segregation was born.
I watch television and am enamored by the way education has produced learned people of ALL classes who won't take the Dumbocrat's feeble perception of the 'Way It Should Be'. They see beyond Caesar's ploy of 'divide and conquer' and the Dummo's attempt to circumvent the U.S. Constitutional Law via the Supreme Court decisions that dilute the same for their purposes.
Are these the people the electorate really want to run the show?? Someday this will come back to bite them in the ass and I hope its on a personal level so their descendants' will feel the pain.
NOT FOOLED....Bob Aswell
