Sen. Ben Cardin said that even though Judge Brett Kavanaugh is now Justice Brett Kavanaugh and that won't change, some of the concerns around the process persist.
"We recognize that there is hard feelings and damage done with the manner in which the Supreme Court nominee was considered," Cardin told Brett Hollander in a phone interview on Thursday.

He put much of the blame for the process on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's rushed timeline, particularly after several women alleged sexual assault and other misconduct dating back to the early 1980s. In an additional background investigation conducted at the direction of President Donald Trump, the FBI interviewed nine witnesses, but did not talk to Kavanaugh, initial accuser Christine Blasey Ford or some of the other accusers and witnesses available.
"We did not have all the information before the confirmation hearings," Cardin said. "There wasn't a complete investigation, and the reasonable request that was made for additional witnesses and additional information was not granted."

Maybe that has something to do with the fact that the democrat Feinstein withheld the Ford letter until the very end of the process. This is as bad as the Soviet disinformation of the 70s and 80s. Of course why would we expect to hear anything else from a renowned communist like Cardin.

Cardin is a fraud and a liar. When you contact him he refuses to hear you. His excuse is he only looks out for his District. I have told him in emails that he represents all of MD in his position and then he does not respond. Van Holland does the same thing only in his response if you get one he feeds you only Democrat Socialist talking points. They are both robots of the Socialist and cannot speak on their own.
Dems like Cardin are just idiots. Of course the FBI didn't interview Ford & Kavanaugh, both had already given sworn testimony under oath. If either of them, especially Ford, had said anything different to the FBI than her sworn testimony, she could have been charged with perjury.
When many years of Marxist democrat agenda was rejected by voters, they went absolutely crazy because they could not believe it could happen to them. They have not been able to accept rejection and are willing to take any measures to regain their power and momentum. The dictatorial regime of the Obama era pushed the envelope to a breaking point and thankfully some voters recognized that fact. Unfortunately, we have passed a tipping point and will never be able to return to more normal and reasonable politics. From now on there will be violence from the left until conservatives wake up and decide that they have had enough. Might take a while but things will not get better and eventually there will be bloodshed like Germany during Hitler’s rise to power.look at history folks. We are moving towards repeating it.

All Feinstein withheld was the letter of accusal. NOBODY got in the way of PROOF for the accusations because there were none. The outcome I think should be viewed as slander by Ford and all her Democratic supporters.

Just to be a federal Judge, you have to go through a complete FBI criminal background investigation. He had at least four of them for previous positions as a judge. If there was anything in his background, it would have been found out long ago.
I had a couple of these done when I applied as a 911 dispatcher back in the eighties and in 2009 when I applied for the sheriffs office.
I had to account for a DUI I had when I was 19, and I told them about this up front because I know how extensive these background checks are. They even question your neighbors, co workers and friends.
