The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning to pet owners and veterinarians about some flea and tick prevention medication.
The FDA says the pills and chews are sold under the brand names Nexgard, Simparica, Bravecto and Credelio and all include the pesticide Isoxazoline.
The products have all received FDA approval, but the organization says some of the adverse reactions associated with Isoxazoline products include muscle tremors, ataxia and seizures.
While the products already mention the risk of the neurological side effects, the FDA said it was requiring clearer labels.
“If your pet experiences a bad reaction from a spot-on product, immediately bathe the pet with mild soap, rinse with large amounts of water, and call your veterinarian,” the FDA advises.

So that is why Hillary Clinton acts the way she does.
We used Bravecto topical this year for the first time and have had no problems at all. The last few years the fleas have been horrible. We have treated the house, the yard and tried other topical drops and the pills. Nothing worked. We put the 3 month drops on our dogs in June and haven't had any problems at all since.
We used Frontline and within 24 hours our dog would have a seizure. The first vet denied it was associated so we continued to use it. Since we did not use it year round it took awhile before we were able to connect the dots. We also changed vets who agreed it could be the source of the problem.
Thanks for this info. Have not seen it elsewhere.
