What a great splash of color to a typically black and white town staple. Is a road necessary? Duh! Does it have to be drab? Guess not! That’s awesome! A little pick-me-up as someone walks down the street having a bad day...I just absolutely love this! Let’s paint all the roads rainbows!

Liberals Snoowflake war is coming and they are Easy to spot tick tock.
Just found out they are putting vinyl wrap on the parking garage to the tune of $98k. I bet it will all peel off before the downtown improvement is finished. By the time this is said and done the city will have spent over $100 for every person who actually shows up to the stupid event.
The downtown improvement has left the streets even less level than before, which I didn't believe could be possible. The sidewalks are filled in with gravel and tar because they are over a year past deadline. It looks worse than when it started.
The ampitheater can't hold 1/8th of the people promised. It cost a fortune and it will have to be ripped up as soon as the freak show is over.
The riverfront with no railing is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
The bike project failure didn't even last long enough to be seen by the folkers.
Meanwhile the city is being sold off to the familiar cast of slumlords for an enormous loss to the taxpayer.
But who cares. Not Fake Day, not the city council and not the slumlords. They just pass the expense down to the citizens, most of whom have their rent paid by state agencies. That's why they are happy to eliminate a HUGE parking area for customers of downtown business and move in more slumdwellers.
The powerful people in this town don't make money off successful business. They make more off suckering poor and stupid people out of their welfare. Charge a fortune for rent. Keep the hospital busy with Medicaid recipients. Keep the fines for tall grass, untagged vehicles and outdoor couches rolling in. Keep the courts and lawyers busy with criminal elements.
If you want to be successful businessman in Salisbury own a slumhouse, pawnshop, bail bonds or liqour store and you MUST accept EBT.

I have spent a great deal of my 64 years in literally hundreds of towns, hamlets and cities in 47 of 50 states in this Republic and five foreign countries and I have found people are pretty much the same. I was born in Crisfield, grew up in Salisbury, went to school at Prince Street Elementary, James M. Bennett, moved to Las Vegas at age 18, lived in Vegas 43 years... My son, born in Vegas in 1983, moved to Crisfield at age 25 imagining he would find Shangri La on THE SHORE, since most of our family is in Wicomico and Somerset Counties.
Today at 35, he is starting to understand wherever there are people... Shangri La is always somewhere else.
