Moscow mules and all sorts of handcrafted spirits were heavily flowing at the Mile High Spirits Distillery and Tasting Bar in Denver, Colorado, on Saturday, when an off-duty FBI agent accidentally shot a bar patron
Denver police responded to the bar in the Lower Downtown district of Denver for an accidental shooting at 12:45 a.m. on Saturday. Police said the FBI agent was dancing at the bar when his firearm dislodged from its waistband holster and dropped onto the floor.
When the agent picked up the gun, “an unintended discharge occurred,” striking a patron inside the club in the lower leg. "The victim was transported to the hospital with a good prognosis," Denver police said.
A video clip obtained by Denver 7, shows the reckless agent busting out dance moves in front of a dozen or more bar goers. The agent then executed a backflip, however, during the bizarre dance move, his gun ejected out of the man’s holster onto the floor. Immediately the agent lunges forward to secure the weapon, but as he picks it up the gun went off.

No problem. Two hours of remedial training and a cautionary letter.
Then the lawsuit.
And we should arm teachers?
Should not have it in the bar showing off. Was the safety engaged? I thought bars where off limits unless working.
I am retired but still work for the FBI on a case by case basis. I am truly ashamed of my agency for lowering standards and hiring people that would be more appropriate behind the counter at McDonald’s. I actually feel badly when I have to introduce myself as a representative of the FBI these days. Hopefully they will recover their fidelity, bravery and integrity before I completely retire.
4:46 of course we should arm teachers who would volunteer to do so and perform safety tests with instructions not to do back flips with loafed gun. That agent should be fired and not to be allowed carry any firearms, period. Law suit is coming for him. Thank God nobody got killed there. Alcohol, back flips and loaded gun means big trouble.

Thank you for telling the truth
Yeah right, you're probably a welfare hack
That's the point genius. You think they dont train FBI agents? How many idiots have you met that have passed a test?
One of the first rules I was taught for my CC class. Alcohol and gunpowder don't mix. He should have NEVER had his weapon on him in that bar.
On a related topic, does anyone remember the former Wicomico County State's Attorney that was convicted of drunken driving, while driving a government provided vehicle, and a loaded gun on his person? Punishment? He lost the next election.....
