They want to eliminate something....eliminate the damn question interview part, none of those girls bright enough to form a sentence! Ratings would go up!

They should just give out the scholarships at high school graduation, like everyone else. If they don't want appearance to count, then just have them submit an essay on "who they are." I don't anymore, but why watch? What's to "see?" Is being pretty, or appealing to the senses, or having poise and a healthy body image so out of the mainstream that it doesn't matter anymore? If so, then there is no need for a pageant. It either is what it is, or it isn't. You see, they are making good looking a bad thing. That should make all the ugly women happy.
Societal ill's request you not wear a swimsuit in a swimsuit competition. Similar to screening trash that goes to the dump (excuse me landfill would be politically correct). And the nut jobs continue.

They had to make this move. Otherwise there would be no way for a man (pretending to be a woman) to win the event. That victory is already planned and will be executed very soon.
Why can't women be smart, successful, AND be beautiful?
They are the fairer of the sexes. This is often found in nature, one sex is more visually appealing, for reasons of attracting a mate. In humans women tend to be more physically attractive, curvy if you will to display they are good mates for carrying children, while men are valued for their utility, larger and stronger to provide protection and to provide. This is biological fact.
Women being beautiful in no way detracts from their ability to ALSO be smart and ALSO be successful.

Granted, but they also tell the truth, which many in the MSM fail to do with or without a hot looking chick. But at least Fox' chicks have brains too.

Don't worry Mare Day, it will happen sooner than you think. Maybe you and Jimbeau can parade around in your Speedo's then you can use that as a photo op for your IG and FB pages. I'm pretty sure Nichole Cap will do a story on you so you can share it to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. That would be so awesome, wouldn't it!

They are not here for our entertainment and all that jazz. What has been the purpose of the swimsuit competition all these years if it was not for entertaining us, dressing for us in the best possible manner to win favor?
Surely they wanted to highlight their academic conquests and their great personal and professional triumphs at such a young, tender, age.
Well they might as well run the pageant on radio, if there's nothing to see. Now beauty is verboten. Go figure.

Well, don't you think it is time to turn off yet another dumb show now that it is changing it's popular format. I'm finding it more entertaining reading rather than looking at most of what TV execs feel is entertainment. Although looking at it another way, maybe the TV execs are right, after all it is called The Boob Tube.
