Maryland State Police Arrest Suspects In Somerset County Home Invasion

(PRINCESS ANNE, Md.) – Maryland State Police arrested two men suspected of a home invasion Tuesday in Somerset County.

The suspects, Michael Delaney Kingery, 39, of Westover, Md. and Robert Tyler Waltemeyer, 26, of Hebron, Md. were arrested and held without bail at the Somerset County Detention Center. Each were charged with home invasion, burglary, first- and second-degree assault, armed robbery, theft and related weapons and other charges.

At approximately 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, troopers assigned to the Princess Anne Barrack were dispatched to a residence on Greenwood School Road in Princess Anne, Md. for a reported home invasion. Upon their arrival, they made contact with victim, who had been injured as a result of the incident.

Troopers learned that two males came to the residence and began knocking on the door. When the victim unlocked the door, the two individuals forced their way into the residence and proceeded to strike the victim repeatedly on his head with what was described as a pistol and a “police-style” baton. Various items were stolen during the incident. The two individuals fled the scene and the victim promptly contacted 911.

Investigators assigned to the Maryland State Police – Criminal Enforcement Division Lower Shore were contacted and they immediately responded to the crime scene to assume responsibility of the investigation. Through investigatory efforts, Kingery and Waltemeyer were identified as suspects and arrest warrants were obtained for both men.

With the assistance of the Maryland State Apprehension Team and the U.S. Marshals Service, Kingery and Waltemeyer were located and placed under arrest without incident.

Kingery has been a bad actor for years on both sides of the bridge. His partner picked the wrong guy to hang with, even though he's been no angel either. I wonder where they met.
