It all has to do with your healthcare insurance, or Worker's Comp, or Social Services. Any one of them MAY cover your transportation to medical appointments. You must call them and ask and get approval.

I work for a North Caroline company (boomerang.net) that provides transportation for multiple insurance companies in many States for those that are eligible.
