I completely agree all they did was talk,show commercial after commercial and they only showed you what they wanted you to see. Terrible coverage!
The coverage was/is horrible.
I remember Olympics when the entire country was watching every event (except for Curling, maybe!).
They had personalities of the athletes featured, and you would actually be interested in them and root for them.
The only one of any significance is Lindsay Vonn, who disrespected the USA before she even hit the slopes by stating she would refuse to go to the White House because of her dislike of the President.
Isn't she special? North Korea can visit South Korea but this egocentric snowflake can't go to our White House.
All that has done is to assure that I will NOT purchase any of the products that she is a spokesperson for.
More important things to take care of. Like the government and republicans taking away seniors benefits.
Forty years ago the Olympic games were fun and interesting to watch. Today it's just self-absorbed athletes and self-absorbed TV "personalities" trying to grab attention.
Watched it live online via NBColympics.com No Katie at all!
While watching the pairs ice skating competition, every time Tera says something about a "Sow-Cow" I start looking for Nancy Palosi in the shot.

My mom got a raise and more coverage 85 years old. She has been starved for 8 years. Fact. Why do you want a democrat even though they reduce benefits every year and raise takes on the elderly? Why?

Vonn didn’t disrespect the Country, she voiced her opinion about the president which she is entitled to do. Last time I checked this wasn’t Nazi Germany or North Korea. I’m a veteran and I love this country but your president is an embarrassment. Makes me no less of a patriot. The president is a temporary custodian of the office. Nothing more. Some bad, some good and some are childish buffoons.
This too will pass. Not quickly enough but it will pass.

By voicing her opinion on a world stage, she disrespected the country.
OF COURSE she's entitled to her opinion, but by announcing it publicly - in her position - is nothing less than grandstanding and showboating.
Not only that, but look at her past Olympic training venues. Every one of them has been subsidized by her country. She should show a bit more respect just for that reason only.
Go or don't go to the White House. I could care less. Let her think and believe anything she wants, but it would certainly serve her better to have a little bit of diplomacy, too.
Already got the Rolex (only $4500 - not $10K - when I bought it in 1977). Milk... Gotta have for the Cheerios. I'll let her slide on the milk...
Done with sports in today's culture. They think their finding a cure for cancer or something, hence the term winter "games". Completely overrated in today's society
Why do you dislike President Trump. Is it because he is successful. Smart. Wealthy. Does good for the American people. I could go on; however, it is not needed. We know what a great President he is. You you don't like him as a person than keep your opinion to your self. Yes it is a free country only people like you, yes you spout off calling our President names but don't say why makes you an embarrassment.
I watched it muted at a piano bar in myrtle beach. We all enjoyed it and the whole place started chanting "USA USA USA" when the US team came on. Then the piano guys started playing Proud to be an American and the whole place was on their feet!
Just the way it used to be. This country is much more patriotic than the dems think.

I'm not watching it. I already no people will say NEGATIVE RACIST things about white people and the President. I don't want to hear it because I deal with DISCRIMINATION EVERY DAY because I'm White. It's terrible I did not do ANYTHING to deserve it... I am certain some rich privilege athlete will say SOMETHING RACIST to get coverage... #MAGA
