‘Don’t ever preach to me again!’: Ex-GOP chair tells evangelicals who still support Trump to ‘shut the hell up!’

Former Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele blasted Family Research Council president Tony Perkins for giving President Donald Trump a“mulligan” on paying hush money to former adult film star Stormy Daniels.

“When it comes down to giving Trump a pass, some top evangelical leaders are turning a blind eye to his past indiscretions and came to his defense following recent reports about his alleged affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels,” MSNBC host Chris Matthews explained.

“I have very simple admonition: just shut the hell up and don’t preach to me about anything ever again,” Steele suggested.

“After telling me who to love, what to believe, what to do and what not to do and now you sit back and the prostitutes don’t matter, the grabbing the you-know-what doesn’t matter, the outright behavior and lies don’t matter, just shut up!” Steele blasted.

“They have no voice of authority anymore for me,” Steele concluded.

I think Steele has a valid point about people telling other people how to live.

HOWEVER, if you are paying attention, you know that we are at a very precarious point in the war being fought between Trump and "The Deep State". The Rolling Stones said it best:

"You can't always get what you want.
But if you try sometimes,
You just might find,
You get what you need."

Michael Steele, now is not the time to throw rocks at people that are on your side regarding the big issues. Michael Steele, with all due respect, shut the hell up!

My goodness it is baffling to see so many "Christians" talk about drinking the kool aide when you have a blatant sinner in office and you suck up every bit of information he gives to you!

Ah Mr Steele your true colors showing.

10:53 and others who have this mindset. Let me remind you...Romans 3:23 For ALL have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. 1 John 7-9 …7But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.…
Berean Study Bible

President Trump prayed during the campaign with many credible Evangelical Christians for Salvation. Just because you're a Christian doesn't mean you will never sin again. At the time of Salvation; ALL sins are forgiven and God sees them NO more. Once we're saved, When (not if) we sin, we then ask forgiveness and God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins.

Don't be so arrogant as to think you are above all, because you're NOT.

We are all sinners.

Add Steele to the list of jealous has been losers. They are so jealous of our good president they can't handle it. I don't hear of any female charging this president with any force. I am concerned with and pleased with what he is doing today to MAGA, not what he had for lunch or who he had it with years ago. These people could have done the same when in office, but greed stopped them. They were there to fill their own pockets.

But Bill Clinton was okay, despite his lying, coke snorting, skirt lifting and payoffs to his sex victims, all done while a public servant.

Aren't we all blatant sinners?

I used to have high hopes for Michael Steele, as a black Republican. But apparently his "true colors" are coming out, and he is just another black politician playing the anti-Trump race card. Kinda reminds me of Obama now.

I wonder what part of "alleged affair" that Michael Steele doesn't get? I guess he wants to impeach Trump on wild ass, unsubstantiated allegations. Hey Mikey, what about Clinton. Not alleged, but a proven adulterer. Steele need to shut the hell up and just fade away. He is NO voice of authority for anybody.

Mr. Trump is a human being.
He was born into a millionaire real estate family.
He was given every educational opportunity one could hope for in America.
He was given many millions of dollars to invest and begin his adult life.
He was provided all of the connections and associations necessary for business success.
He is a freemason.

Mr. Trump is a human being.

Bill Clinton was a sinner many times over. He was impeached; however, he didn't leave, he has full time protection and receives a retirement pension. So unless we really impeach Clinton - no benefits Trump is a saint to me figuratively speaking. We are all sinners.

And he is still treated as an upstanding retired president. Security, pension etc. But he was impeached.

I felt the same. Not anymore.
