I will vote for him. He is the only elected official who has ever kept us up to date. I will never forget that.

He's smart, personable, civically engaged, and experienced. He's my pick.

Mike is the only qualified candidate for sheriff! The other candidate has only been a dare office for the agency. The people of Worcester county deserve someone with Mike’s experience.

Just another politician
Double dipped from county as a deputy being paid while doing delegate work
Already been seen campaigning on county time in county vehicle.

I don't know the dude, but kept a eye on him via video in Annapolis. I watched him fight hard for our gun rights and he posted a update regularly about what was going on. I voted for him when he ran against the old gray headed man in O.C. I am not in his county, therefore can't cast a ballot for him. Maybe I can donate to the cause. Good luck sir.

He has my vote.

Career politician, no way. Will not get my vote. The 2 previous sheriffs are endorsing a different republican candidate, I think that speaks volumes.

No more career politicians. Like Pollit in Crisfield, never had a real job just always running for office. These type of people are not out for good only for themselves.

Never seen Mike running around drinking acting crazy running women. Mike is a straight up leader and takes his job serious. He is a proven leader something I would want as a citizen. His opponent might be the next Matt Lauer. Waiting for the teachers and kids to come forward to expose His shenanigans in the schools.

Mike hasn't consistently shown up for work in years, wait until recently so he can campaign and work all day doing nothing as usual. Dedication is even in his vocabulary, just look at his political experience. He bounces from one position to another, he gets a job and messes it up and moves on to the next one to mess up. He makes promises to every person he meets for support, true snake charmer. Open your eyes people, if he could do the things he is promising they would have been done already.

I'm voting Mike. The only person I've seen campaigning on County time is the other guy who spends his time flirting with the single moms at the middle school and who posts videos of him walking around downtown Berlin in the middle of the day telling everyone to be "careful" and hide their packages so they don't "become a target" - I'm sure local small businesses really appreciate him scaring their customers away hinting at a huge crime problem in downtown Berlin!

I would sign it if it were my post. Thanks for paying attention...and I might add, I notice you were an "anonymous" coward. If I make a comment, I do not hide. If I stand for something, I say it clearly. I wish all comments had to be associated with real persons, then we would see clearly know the "cowards" and the sycophants.

I want to thank those who have offered encouragement and strong words in support of my campaign. You are greatly appreciated and I look forward to serving you as the next sheriff of Worcester County.

Godspeed,
Mike McDermott
