Fire causes heavy damage at Eastern Shore Yacht & Country Club

MELFA, Va. (WAVY) — Multiple fire units responded to a fire at the Eastern Shore Yacht & Country Club on Friday night.

Dispatchers said units responded to the fire at 10:30 p.m. Friday evening. First arriving units from Melfa VFC found heavy smoke and fire conditions and requested additional help.

It's like these old clubs needed a nice, insurance paid for renovation...same stuff happens at the local crab houses, too. Funny how that works.
