CLMB donates to shelter

Members of the Somerset County Local Management Board, Inc., a nonprofit organization that supports programs for children and families, on Sept. 22 presented a $5,000 grant to the Somerset Committee for the Homeless, Inc. The grant will help support operations of the Lower Shore Shelter, a new 16-bed homeless shelter opening next month in Princess Anne. The shelter will serve individuals and families, and will be open and staffed 24 hours.
