Incident: Disorderly Conduct
Date of Incident: 31 July 2017
Location: 800 block of Booth Street, Salisbury, MD
Suspects:
Male Juvenile, 13, Salisbury, MD
Male Juvenile, 15, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 31 July 2017 at 12:23 PM, a deputy responded to the 800 block of Booth Street in Salisbury for the report of a subject reportedly observed carrying a firearm. Upon arrival, the deputy located the subject in question who was discovered to be a 13-year-old juvenile. The deputy would recover what was observed to be a very realistic looking .BB gun from this juvenile’s waistband. The .BB gun was fashioned to look like a semi-automatic handgun.
Another juvenile associate that was with this subject began acting disorderly and proceeded to make threats against deputies on the scene and this tempestuous behavior began drawing a crowd.
Both juveniles were placed under arrest and transported to the Sheriff’s Office. Both were subsequently released to their respective guardians pending action by the Department of Juvenile Services.

Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 31 July 2017
Location: Kiowa Avenue, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Wendell Ross Dale, 33, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 31 July 2017 at 2:30 PM a deputy arrested Wendell Dale in connection with a reported assault. According to the complainant in this case, Dale poured bleach over her during an argument. This reportedly caused injury to the victim that required medical treatment. It was also alleged that Dale damaged the victim’s Xbox and smartphone.
Upon arrest Dale was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, Dale was detained in the Detention Center in lieu of a $25,000.00 bond.
Charges: Assault 2nd Degree, Reckless Endangerment, Malicious Destruction of Property 


Incident: Warrant Arrest
Date of Incident: 31 July 2017
Location: Wicomico County
Suspect: Kaitlin Brook Eaton, 23, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 31 July 2017 at 4:15 PM, a deputy arrested Kaitlin Eaton on two outstanding District Court Bench Warrants. The warrants were issued after Eaton violated the terms of her probation in two cases where she had been convicted of CDS Possession.
The deputy transported Eaton to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Eaton without bond in the Detention Center.
Charges: Violation of Probation 


Incident: Warrant Arrest
Date of Incident: 1 August 2017
Location: Wicomico County
Suspect: Laura Sue Cooper, 37, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 1 August 2017 a deputy arrested Laura Sue Cooper on an outstanding District Court Bench Warrant. The warrant was issued after Cooper violated the terms of her probation in a CDS Possession and Reckless Endangerment case.
The deputy transported Cooper to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Cooper was detained without bond pending a bond review.

Suspect: Christopher Eugene Simmons, 26, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 1 August 2017 a deputy arrested Christopher Simmons on an outstanding District Court Bench Warrant. The warrant was issued after Simmons violated the terms of his probation in a case where he had been convicted of CDS Possession and Fake CDS Distribution.
The deputy transported Simmons to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Simmons was detained on a bond of $20,000.00 in the Detention Center.

Incident: Warrant Arrest

Suspect: John Hogan Schury, 21, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 1 August 2017 a deputy arrested John Schury on an outstanding District Court Bench Warrant. The warrant was issued after Schury violated the terms of his probation in a case where he had been convicted of Forgery and Theft.
The deputy transported Schury to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Schury was detained without bond in the Detention Center pending a District Court Bond Review.

Incident: Handgun
Date of Incident: 1 August 2017
Location: 500 block of W. Salisbury Parkway, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Tevin Jamar Marrow, 23, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 1 August 2017 at 2:09 PM a deputy stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of W. Salisbury Parkway after observing a passenger discard litter onto the roadway. Upon stopping, that passenger, later identified as Tevin Marrow, exited the vehicle and attempted to run away but was successfully detained by the deputy. During a subsequent pat down search, the deputy discovered that Marrow had hidden a handgun in his pants.

Upon seizure of the firearm, it was discovered to be a 9mm semi-automatic handgun and was observed to be loaded with a round in the chamber. Further search of the vehicle revealed what was identified as Promethazine-Codeine syrup in an unlabeled bottle.
Marrow was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Marrow in the Detention Center in lieu of $25,000.00 bond.
Charges: Handgun on Person, Handgun in Vehicle, Possession of CDS not Marijuana, Removal of a Prescription Label 


Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 1 August 2017
Location: 800 block of Booth Street, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Micheline Joassaint, 18, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 1 August 2017 at 3:02 PM a deputy responded to a residence in the 800 block of Booth Street for a reported altercation. Upon arrival, the deputy located a male victim with obvious signs of injury to his head and upper torso that suggested he had just been the victim of an assault. During the investigation, the deputy learned that this subject had been assaulted by an older family member, Micheline Joassaint.
The deputy placed Joassaint under arrest and transported her to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Joassaint without bond in the Detention Center pending a District Court Bond Review.
Charges: Assault 2nd Degree
