Perdue Sending Food To Texas

Perdue Farms

Perdue Transportation truck driver Dexter Willey pulled out in the predawn hours this morning, headed to flood-stricken Texas. He’s pulling a load of donated chicken products destined for the Food Bank of Golden Crescent in Victoria, Texas. Our thanks to our teams of drivers who are making special trips to Texas to deliver more than 20 truckloads of protein donations to Feeding America food banks and to schools as we try do our small part to help. They also carry our thoughts and prayers to the people of Houston and surrounding communities.

Much as many of the locals gripe about Perdue, when the chips are down, they kick in to help.

Perdue donates 20 truckloads and nothing on the TV news. Allen harim donates 1 truckload and it makes the tv news. Don't our local stations care for one of our biggest employers?
