Bwahahaha...out of his OWN FIRE CAPTAIN MOUTH "we do NOT run into burning buildings". FINALLY....someone who speaks the TRUTH in the fire industry. ALL he talks about is how great the benefits are and how it is NOT a dangerous job!!! Hahahahahaha

If it's not dangerous in New York City it SURE AS HELL isn't dangerous in Salisbury Md!!!

What a dummy , who's he talking to and what for? We all know that a fire fighter is an over rated job compared to police or trash men , or sanitation men

He was asked to speak to recruits and is addressing a group of NYFD recruits. He singlehandedly shot down ALL of these local hillbilly "heroes" who claim how "BRAVE" they are. It's all about the benefits and schedule!!!

NYC is so crowded. How do they manage to double park the engines while making food runs for the fahr fyters?

Yeah. You don't see FDNY riding around in engines getting lunch. It just doesn't happen. Hahaha. "Bad Boyz of Metro" ROFLMAO. More like "Sad Boi's of Ghetto".

There was a firefighter in Salisbury who helped an old man out of a burning house.
The old man laying on the ground, gasping, asked "where's my wife?".
The Salisbury firefighter RAN BACK INTO THE BURNING HOUSE without any back up or hose. And brought that woman out, by himself.
He was awarded the highest honor for that. So yeah, the POLICE may not run into a burning building, but a real firefighter will.
AND, I suppose he forgot the hundreds of FIREFIGHTERS who ran into the burning World Trade Center. And died for it.
What? You jealous because there ain't be no benefits working at 7-11?
Ask the firefighters how many 400 lb people call them to take them to the hospital because their stomach hurts, or they have bad headache? And need to be CARRIED down from the third floor at Waterside??? ALL THE TIME.
You think lifting that box of chips is hard??
Lastly, that person should be fired for racism.....white people "flock" to certain jobs?
If he was white and said ANYTHING about ANY thoughts on what black people can do or can't do. It turned into a "white people be holding us down" rally.
F him.

Don't be mad because he told the truth!!! Looks like the Wizard of Oz pulled the curtain back on you crying sissies. Truth hurts!!!

Talking to school kids, and he clearly states they do go into fires.

Hey 8:20, maybe you should know what you are talking about BEFORE you run your yap on here. Here is the article

http://nypost.com/2017/08/27/fdny-captain-claims-firefighters-do-not-run-into-burning-buildings/

Clearly he is talking to recruits and he clearly says they do not run into fires!!!

The sound of crickets chirping speaks volumes. These egotistical firefighters have NOTHING to say!!! Finally called out by one of their own. One who has seen more fire, by himself, than the entire SFD COMBINED!!! You can't defend the indefensible.

He is speaking at Borough of Manhattan Community College to pitch FDNY to potential minority recruits, not an FDNY class of recruits. He clearly says they go in to put out apartment fires or rooms on fire, yes he does reference not running into burning buildings like in the movies.

ANY job can be dangerous if certain circumstances and conditions are met, including FF's and cops.

Cops themselves bring on the negative attitudes they encounter for the most part by the way they speak to the general public.

Same goes for FF's and medics. I will never forget the picture of a female EMT's shirt (I think she was an EMT). The writing on the back said, " It's my job to save your ass, not kiss it."

That was a PR disaster in line with the Titanic to their company. Just their attitudes alone turn people off, and some don't care. They have a God complex. It just doesn't jibe with their profession.

Maybe they watch too many movies or something. Most real heroes don't even want to be called a hero. Some think they are a hero just for putting on their uniform. WRONG
