Hitler and the other Nazi leaders never allowed statues of themselves, no painting and very few photos. But FYI and others Germany, Poland, Austria and other countries have historical markers all over signifying highlights of the Nazi regime and reign. You have to realize Europeans unlike most Americans are sophisticated and cosmopolitan and more importantly educated. They don't find these places of history as reminders of the horrors nor do they find them offensive but as an important reminder of the past. They want the lessons to stay in public consciousness so the events never repeat themselves.
Spain too still has statues and busts of the dictator Franco on public display in public areas. Europe doesn't erase their history like the US tends to do or pretend something didn't happen.
436 I agree with most of what you said; however, we've all seen how some blacks hang their white hate on something they were never even a part of to begin with. Neither were their relatives. They use the slavery thing to act entitled even though no one in their families were even here in the US at that point.
