Trooper is caught on video going the wrong way

A North Carolina Highway Patrol trooper has resigned after a video emerged online showing speeding the wrong way on a highway - as he responded to reports of street racing.

A statement from the Highway Patrol on Tuesday said Trooper TJ Williamson submitted his resignation effective immediately.

The video, which appeared across several social media outlets, showed a patrol car traveling on the wrong side of the highway at around 4.20pm and zooming past oncoming traffic. The highway is divided by a grass median.

I don't see what the problem is. Emergency workers do this all the time.

No they don't.
The problem is when he hits another car head on at 95MPH.
That's why there is a law against it.
And that's why he got fired.
He was counting on his personal exemption from obeying the law.
Not this time, bro.
