Six Washington D.C. area residents were arrested on first-degree assault, weapons violations and other charges on Monday after an argument turned physical downtown Monday morning.
Around 2:40 a.m., Ocean City police were dispatched to a condominium in the 300 block of St. Louis Avenue for a reported strong-arm robbery. Witnesses told police that a group of J-1 visa students had reportedly argued with a group of five men and two women.
The altercation began when glass bottles were reportedly thrown from the condominium across the street to the ground near the group and their pick-up truck, according to the report. The group then demanded to be let inside the J-1 student’s condominium.
One student told police that during the argument, his phone rang so he answered it. The group reportedly thought the J-1 visa student was calling the police, so one of the suspects punched him in the face and stole his phone. Another student told police he was punched in the side of the head.

Six thugs locked up in OC. Get'em off the street.
Ok, Social Justice Warriors- tell us how this is White People's Fault.
9:45 right on
Those nice college students from D.C. were just educating the J1 visa holders on how thangs be done in America. I am sure that they have been on the road to turning their lives around and any jail time will be an injustice. Obviously all white people are racist and that is what causes them to act like animals.
There is a ballpark and a skatepark in the 300 block. No condos...
Family friendly resort. I would never let my kid work there for the summer like we did in the late 80's/90's.
I bet you next time they will think before throwing bottles at someone. That same thing happened to my family and I as we were walking. Here comes bottles and beer can from above from some dumb drunk white thugs. They got what they deserved.
Hey, this is Rick Meehan's vision of Ocean City coming true. Where are you on this, Rick?
So by the trial date, victims will be long gone, charges dropped, start over again.
