OK, just what kind of game is Miller and Hogan playing here. WHY after the fact is the President of the Senate all of a sudden against this? It just doesn't pass the smell test.
It amy have something to do with the new FBI Headquarters to be built in Maryland? May have got the word that Trump was not going to let it be built in a sanctuary state.
FBI HQ isn't coming to MD with all the bs that goes on in this state. You have a state's attorney whose in danger of being disbarred, idiots like Morales wanting sanctuary state. MD has done just about everything imaginable to say F-U to federal law enforcement and then they want to make a bid for FBI HQ? Hold this I'll be right back.

As far as FBI HQ, makes for a bad choice: in MD and VA both senators are Dems. VA has a criminal governor Clinton pal. We have a Republican governor who is wisely positioning himself to grab Dem votes for re-election. But a Sanctuary State designation alters the landscape.

Miller playing the political game. He knows Marylanders is turning against him every day. Not only on this Bill but also on the redistricting. Also he sees that State Employees are getting more aware that he was deeply involved in robbing their pension fund and has not paid the fund back. He does not want to lose his government check even though he has secured an outlandish retirement and benefits.
Wish this old man would retire and go home, just don't stay here. Never been good for the state ever. Can't even be professional, hasn't he ripped the taxpayers off enough for a haircut?

Yes, he used last of his functioning brain cells and realized Maryland would loose that Federal Money. I'm sure it wasn't the public outrage of Maryland Taxpayers, that "changed" his mind, since he never cared them for many years. Also the possibility of loosing his gravy train job got him scared so much, he made a political move to try to preserve it.
If he's against it he should file a bill to repeal it IMMEDIATELY, otherwise he´s just against it after he was for it. He's showboating
